Hello photo lovers, happy Sunday.
I hope sun is shining there to.
I wanted to upload some other pictures and accidentally clicked on this picture. It was in the wrong folder and I wanted to see what it was. So now I am telling you about this location.
For this I needed to scroll all the way down to see if I already posted about it but I cant find it. I scrolled three times and i did find posts about that whole weekend so now i can finish it with this last post.
Belgium, the urbex location number one, "heavy metal" and we visited it. Now a day's it's already demolish completely and when we were there they already started the inventory it.
It was a blast furnace steel factory. And this is what we saw there.
In the beginning of the trip we needed to park a couple of km outside the factory site and we needed to cross a train track, cowl trough dense bush and find a gate that was cut open were we needed to enter the place. that was already exciting. We did not do this often so it was a big undertaking for us.
Seeing these kinds of structures, I understand why they called this location Heavy Metal.
Walking around here and seeing all that metal really made me feel smal.
We also looked inside of the main factory were the controls of the blast furnace were.
Look at this massive hall. how pretty.
It was unbelievable to see all this. And as a cherry on a cake we went up in the furnace tower.
I did not go all the way up. I am to old for that shit 😂
Half way was good for me.
Yep that was an awesome experience. Have you
