Exploring Heavy metal Liege Belgium

in Urban Exploration16 days ago

Hello photo lovers, happy Sunday.

I hope sun is shining there to.

I wanted to upload some other pictures and accidentally clicked on this picture. It was in the wrong folder and I wanted to see what it was. So now I am telling you about this location.
For this I needed to scroll all the way down to see if I already posted about it but I cant find it. I scrolled three times and i did find posts about that whole weekend so now i can finish it with this last post.

Belgium, the urbex location number one, "heavy metal" and we visited it. Now a day's it's already demolish completely and when we were there they already started the inventory it.
It was a blast furnace steel factory. And this is what we saw there.

In the beginning of the trip we needed to park a couple of km outside the factory site and we needed to cross a train track, cowl trough dense bush and find a gate that was cut open were we needed to enter the place. that was already exciting. We did not do this often so it was a big undertaking for us.

Seeing these kinds of structures, I understand why they called this location Heavy Metal.

Walking around here and seeing all that metal really made me feel smal.

It was unbelievable to see all this. And as a cherry on a cake we went up in the furnace tower.

I did not go all the way up. I am to old for that shit 😂

Half way was good for me.

What a great experience, I love doing explorations but this Heavy Metal is excellent, walking between all those structures, having gone through a long road and bush was worth it.

On the other hand the view from the tower is magnificent and the pictures showing the sun going through the ironwork are very good. I have done explorations but not like this one, congratulations!

This one was epic to explore. Many people have been there but it was very cool

I'm glad you had such a great experience!

man i would be pretty scared to visit this, it might be collapsing 😅

It was a really dangerous place. People died there because they visited it.

all that makes u stop for a while & think how did it turn to this & imagine how someday it was full of people- full of noise & full of life, cool collection- my fav is the 1st photo for sure- the light appeared as f it's a little sun under the bridge with the greenery next to the girl it all made a great combination & appeared as f it's the light at the end of the tunnel. well done, great work & have a good day

Thank you 🙏 it's ine of my favourite picture to.

That's a nice little mooch

Haha, little 😅 it was master epic. Sorry. I have no words for it 😅🙈

LOl, love the old engineering stuff.

Urban exploring looks so exciting!
I really like this form of photography.
It must be really creepy to walk around on these abandoned sites.

It was scary in the beginning but very very cool to do so

Climbing that tower halfway would be enough for me man. The rust and sunlight in your photos look cool, almost like an old metal giant sleeping there. Nice shots man, really nice ones

That's a very good one "a metal giant" 💪

Interesting place in Belgium! Hope it was safe exploring there!

No, it was not really safe. One person has died there already. But that was after we were there.

😦

Half way was really too good cos that’s some real hunk of metals there.
How did they manage to put all of that together? This is simply magnificent
It’s like this in pictures, imagine a real experience. I’d just admire from a distance 😂

I didn't pull anything together, that's why I didn't dear to go higher 😅

I can imagine
You even daring that height alone is enough courage 🤣🤣
I’d just admire from a distance 😂
