Few years ago I met a beautiful Lady amaka by name. She is tall fair in complexion, respectful and also Very brilliant. She is a student of federal university of technology Owerri imo state Nigeria. She is from Ebonyi state Nigeria.
My meeting with her is a divine arrangement by God. I can remember one faithful day I sent one of my boy to her shop to buy something, but when he came back he remembered he forgot to collect his balance for the things he bought. I told him to calm down that I will collect it my self after we close from work.
10 minutes before our closing time, I saw a beautiful lady coming towards my shop, when she came close I observe it was her, when I had an eye contact with her it was as if another thing entered me. My eyes couldn't behold the beauty where I forget to ask what she was looking for.
I was blown away by her beauty and I said in my heart that she must be a good woman. She came to return the balance my boy forgot at her shop which I collected it from her and thank her for making it out to bring it for me.
I asked her if i could Ioffer her anything, she said a chilled water is okay, I quickly got it for her. After drinking, we exchanged contact and she left. When I got home that day I begin to tell myself that this is the kind of woman I want in my life as a wife.
Two days later I gave her a call requesting to take her out for lunch, she accepted and we book a date. I took her to one of the beautiful restaurant in town, when we got there I asked her to make choice of anything she will like to eat and I placed my order as well. After eating she thank me and told me how happy she is for the outing. I was so excited seeing that smile on her face, then I had to order ice cream for her and she was happy the more.
Seating down together with her makes me catch more feelings the more, then I have to tell her what I felt about her. I also told her that if she accepts my friend request I would also like seeing us settle as family, when she heard that she was flattered then said she would think about it.
After some little discussion with her she accepted and I felt very happy that day.
From time to time we check up on each other to know how each other is faring, gradually gradually our love grew more stronger for each other.
After some time I decided to take her to my parents, on that faithful day, I have already discussed with my mother about her coming so she made a delicious meal for her. When we arrived home I took her straight to our seating room where my father was seated. At that point I had to leave two of them and joined my mother in the kitchen to assist her up with the food because she have to go back that same day.
Not quite long, food was served and we all ate as family for the first time and Immediately after the meal my parents began to ask their questions, like to know where she is from and also to know my intentions towards her which I didn't hesitate but told them I want to marry her. My mother ask if we have made out time to study each other and I replied her yes.
After so many interactions and discussion my parents had to advise and pray for us as it was getting late already and after the prayer I had to see her off. On our way going, she was very happy and also exited to meet with my parents and she is overwhelmed the way they treated her.
Some days later she came to my shop to check up on me as usual and I was happy to see her because I have not seen her for some days. When she came she brought banana for me which I really appreciate. As I was eating the banana, she told me how at ease she is with my parents and from there we planned going to meet with her own parents too.
Some months later we arranged a date and went to her place to meet with her parents. On our way going I bought a bottle of wine, so when we got to her place her father welcomed me and offered me a seat to sit down then I presented my wine to him.
He asked me what I want to drink then I said child water is okay. A bottle of water was brought to me and after I drank it few minutes later he began asking me questions. What do you do my son and what is your academic level. I responded by saying i have graduated from higher institution but due to the nature of our country I have not gotten any government job, but I'm a good entrepreneur and I have a laundry shop where I do dry and clean clothes for people which I replied him.
He then began by saying okay my son, how long have you known my daughter and I replied him by saying three months. What is your intention towards her he asked again and I told him I want to marry her in confidence, he looked at me and smiled.
You spoke in confidence he replied, but how do you take care of my daughter as you don't have any standard job. I can take care of her with my little laundry business and also I believe one day I will get a standard job and everything will be fine trust me sir.
You can not marry my daughter he said you don't have any reasonable job with you and I don't want my daughter to suffer you have to go back and buckle up. Those words really touched me that I felt so bad and underrated. I still pleaded that I can take very good care of your daughter but he still maintained his words.
When I started noticing anger on his face I had to leave to avoid any trouble. When I got home I locked myself inside my room tears rolled my eyes but even at that I never gave up. Two days later my girlfriend came to my house and was crying then I ask her what the matter was ans she said she heard all the conversation I had with her father but the truth is that she's not given up on me, Whether the father Likes it or not we will still be together.
When I heard that from her it looks as if I was restored to life, She told me not to worry that she knows what to do. After our discussion she left then I had to go back to my shop. Two days later around 7:00am as I was preparing to go to work I saw a police van loaded with police men in my compound demanding for my arrest, when I asked them what the problem is they said I have to remain silent till I get to the police station and at that point I have to follow them.
When we got to the police station I saw the parents of my girlfriend and I felt so intimidated that at that point they started asking me about their daughter that she has been missing for two days now, demanding that I should go and bring her out anyway I kept her.
At that point I started crying, telling them I know nothing about her dissapearance, the father said it's a lie that they should go and put me inside the police cell. They quickly throw me inside the cell where I was there for like two days without food.
The next day I was asked to be brought out from the police cell, when I came out I saw both my parents and the parents of my girlfriend, I was surprised then immediately ask if am safe this time around, the father of my girlfriend replied that he got a message from her daughter that if they didn't free me she will kill herself.
I asked where she was and he replied that she said if they didn't free me and allow us marry each other that she won't come out. At this point everybody realize I'm innocent of her dissapearance and quickly release me from the station.
After my freedom my girlfriend's dad felt bad the way he treated me, he as well begged me to follow him to his house which at first I didn't want to answer but later said okay to it. My parents and I all went together to my girlfriend's place. When we got there he offered us seat to sit down and water to drink. After we must have settled down, he began to apologize for everything he has done to me asking me for forgiveness which I didn't hesitate to forgive.
Two hours later her daughter came in and was crying, he looked at her daughter and tears rolled down from his eyes, he asked me to come closer to him then called his daughter too and hugged us which he then approve the marriage and gave his blessings.
At that point everybody was happy, we then discuss as a family on how our traditional marriage will be, after some weeks we got it done and everybody was happy on how everything happened so fast.
Today my wife and i are happily married with a beautiful daughter named victory. Don't be discouraged when you find true love no matter how the situation might be because patience will definitely keep the hope alive.
