I read some posts in which the authors think being too curious about what their partner is up to is bad for the relationship and at some points could lead to a breakup or a broken home.

I am scared of what my partner is up to and terrified to find out, so I stay away from their business and phone, I want to be left in darkness even though what they are doing can hurt me badly.
The moment two people agree to be with each other is when they become one, whatever bad things happen to one of them will affect the other too.
This reminds me of the story of a man who was always cheating on his wife but the woman refused to meddle in his life so didn't even know the kind of man she was in a relationship with until one day, she realized that her health is deteriorating and went for medical check-up and got the shock of her life when she was tested positive for Hiv.
She had been faithful all her life and never cheated on her husband, so how could this be, she needed no soothsayer to tell her what happened, she rushed home to confront her man and also forced him to run a test too and he tested positive too and he didn't even know until that moment, crazy!
If the woman had been curious to know what was going on with the husband, maybe she could have saved herself from such an incurable disease but the deed is done... So everyone should learn to be curious about their partner, a broken home is better than an incurable disease.

When Talking about harmful curiosity, this could happen in so many ways, let me tell you my story.
We all know about online scams and phishing links and how many people have lost their life savings to such things, there was a time when phishing links were trending, and people also created awareness so others could be safe.
I had a lot of scammers direct messaging me, asking me who I am and what am into online, in the end, they tell me about trading stuff they want me to invest in to double my money blah blah, some times when I am bored I give them my attention and if I am not in a mood for it, I just block them.
One fateful day, someone dm me, telling me about a gaming project they just launched and needed a tester and it wouldn't be for free, the testers would be rewarded with 300 dollars per day... It sounded too good to be true and I knew he was a scammer but that day, I was curious to find out his tactics and his mode of operation so I played along.
I asked him about the process, and he said I was going to download the game and send me a link, oh well I clicked the link and it took me to a site, I could not go further from there because what If I was wrong that as long as I do not log in and put in my password anywhere I am safe, what if downloading the game or even clicking that link automatically install a malware software on my laptop, so before my curiosity make me lose money, I stopped replying his messages and blocked him.
A lot of people have fallen for airdrop scams because of their curiosity to see if they can get something from it. Recently a project called paws is giving airdrop to Solana Og, but you have to connect your wallet to check if you are eligible before claiming, this dissuaded me from it but I checked Twitter and noticed some people got the tokens while others were unlucky, I didn't let my curiosity get the best of me that I will connect my wallet to their site just to check If I get their tokens or not...
