String Beans Cooked in Soy Sauce or what we call “Adobong Sitaw”on our Local (1).png

Hello again my dear hiver friends of this community. Today I’m going to share with you again another recipe of string beans that was very easy to prepare. This dish was called “adobong sitaw” on our local. My husband bought a lot of string beans that’s why I’m cooking different kinds of dish out from it. So, join me once again on my humble kitchen how I prepared and cooked this food recipe.

Cooking time:

Chopped the pork meat into tiny cubes, and cut the string beans into smaller strips.

In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, then sauté the onions and ginger. When it’s already aromatic, add the pork meat then cooked it until golden brown, I also added a tsp. of pepper and 1 tbsp. of oyster sauce on it.

When it was already golden brown, we can now add the string beans. Sauté for 1 minute then add the soy sauce and oyster sauce, together with the pepper and some seasonings.

Add 2 cups of water, then cover the pan.

Stir the food occasionally until the sauce is reduced. Turn off the stove.
