Hello everyone of this community, I’m here again with another blog to share. For today’s dinner I decided to cook pancit which is “Lomi” here in our local, although the ingredients is not complete, I just cooked it because I’m really craving this food lately.
I will be using canton noodles, because the noodles for “lomi” is not available at our place right now. So, join me again as I prepare and cook this food recipe.
Ingredients:
½ kg. canton noodles
½ cup soy sauce
3 tbsp.. oyster sauce
½ kg. chicken liver
¼ kg. fish balls
2 pcs. carrots
1 medium sized cabbage
1 tsp. pepper
1 chicken cube
3 pcs. egg
1 pc. onion
1 clove garlic
Cooking Time:
In a pan, fry first the fish balls until half cooked then set aside. Next to fry on the same pan are the chicken livers until golden brown then set aside.
Sauté the garlic and onions that were chopped finely, when it becomes aromatic add the carrots that was cut into strips, sauté until the carrots are half cooked then add the 1 tbsp. of oyster and a pinch of pepper. Then add about 3 liters of water.
Cover and wait until it boils, add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, chicken cube, taste if it needs more salt then add the canton noodles, cooked for 5 minutes, then add back the chicken livers and fish balls, mix then gradually add the beaten eggs while mixing it. Lastly, add the cabbage and cook more until the vegetables are already cooked. You can add more ingredients to this recipe like pork “chicharon” for toppings and pork meat.

Then we have it my own version of Pancit “Lomi”. I really prefer to have a noodle for our dinner; it really tastes good plus the chicken liver really adds a delicious flavor to my noodle recipe. We partake the food, and I’m glad my family likes it.
That’s all my dear hiver friends of this community. Till’ next food blog again. Have a wonderful day. Keep safe everyone 😊
Sincerely, @saijan19
