Procedures On Making Cassava Flakes

Before we start,there are some things you need to consider first before the process of making garri. Firstly, you should have planted your cassava and allow it to harvest during it's time. So after harvesting, these steps below will guide you through;

Step 1: Firstly, I went to my farm and harvested the cassava and brought it home.

Step 2: Next, I began to peel the cassava, put it into a big bowl and washed it inside the bag for grinding.

Step 3: I carried it to the place for grinding. The smashed it so well and squeeze out all the water in it for better frying. Sorry, I wasn't able to snap when I grinded it.

Step 4: With the help of my seive, I used it to differentiate the waste particles from the main cassava flakes.

Step 5: I set up my fire, and frying has begun..!! I didn't allow the heat of the fire to be too much so that garri won't get burnt.

Step 6: That was how I kept on frying it to the last portion of it. Then, I got a clean nylon and poured it there for it to cool before packing them inside the bowl.

Step 7: Lastly, here's the outcome of the cassava flakes. Hope I tried?
