This weekend we had the opportunity to visit BARRIO BURGER, a restaurant specialized in artisanal burgers, which was participating in a Medellín Gourmet event called Burger Master along with other restaurants to determine which had the best burger in the city.
The winning burger was voted on through a website, where people could choose their favorite among all those competing across the city.
To get in, we had to wait in a short line for about 10 minutes, but we heard that in other places, lines were much longer up to 2 hours which is definitely not my thing.
The place is really nice and well lit, and once we were seated, we ordered the burger called PARIS, which was the one participating in the contest. Just the smell of it already made us hungry.
The meat was cooked medium well, delicious and juicy, and the artisanal black bun was a pleasant surprise it made the burger look even more appetizing.
This burger came with mozzarella cheese, caramelized onions, an entrecôte sauce, and arugula.
They served it in a small box, although I asked for a plate to eat it more comfortably. We ordered it as a combo with fries and soda, though I went for a Hatsu tea instead.
My girlfriend loved it. Though, for her, it was a bit too big and I ended up eating one and a half burgers, haha. She’s not into the street-style burgers you find here and there. On the contrary, she only enjoys this type of gourmet burger, so the fact that she said it was delicious was enough for me, as I was hoping to surprise her.
In conclusion, it's a great place with a strong food offering. I’ll definitely take her back to try other burgers because it’s a great spot to enjoy delicious ones.
In total, we spent around 70,000 Colombian pesos (about 17 dollars), including service. And well, parking for the motorbike was free, haha.
Medellín, Colombia has a great culinary scene, so if you ever come this way and want to enjoy a tasty burger, this is the place to go.

Este finde tuvimos la oportunidad de ir a BARRIO BURGER un restaurante especializado en Hamburguesas Artesanales, el cual estaba participando en un evento de Medellin Gourmet llamado Burger Master junto a otros restaurantes para ver cual era la mejor hamburguesa de la ciudad.
Dicha hamburguesa se votaba en una pagina para ver cual era la ganadora frente a todas las de la ciudad que estaban participando.
Para ingresar nos toco hacer una pequeña fila de 10 minutos, pero en otras partes nos contaban que las filas eran mas largas y hasta de 2 horas cosa que no va conmigo.
El lugar es bien bonito e iluminado y bueno después de que nos asignaron la mesa pedimos la Hamburguesa llamada PARIS que es la que estaba participando, la cual con solo el olor nos abrió el apetito.
Su carne estaba en un termino de 3/4 muy deliciosa al horno y jugosa al igual que su pan Artesanal que era negro el cual me sorprendió ya que hacia ver mas apetitosa la hamburguesa.
Esta hamburguesa llevaba queso mozarrella,cebolla caramelizada, una salsa de entrecote y rugula.
No las dieron en esta cajita, aunque pedi un plato para comerla mejor y la pedimos en combo con papitas y gaseosa, bueno aunque yo pedí un te hatsu.
En conclusión tiene una buena oferta gastronómica, mas adelante la llevare para que pruebe otras ya que es un buen lugar para comer hamburguesas deliciosas.
A mi novia le encanto, sin embargo para ella era muy grande y yo termine comiéndome Hamburguesa y media jeje. Algo que a ella no le gusta la hamburguesa así callejera que venden por hay, al contrario solo le gusta la hamburguesa de este tipo y que ella diga que esta deliciosa pues fue suficiente para mi ya que la quería sorprender
En total fueron unos 70 mil pesos colombiano (unos 17 dólares ) incluyendo el servicio y bueno el parqueo de la moto si era gratis jeje.
Medellin Colombia tiene una gran oferta gastronómica para cuando vengan por acá y se quieran comer una rica hamburguesa este es el lugar.
