Super nervous, but we did the thing! We got the proposal out of the door. Super nervous, but I think it's in the communities interest if you have ever tried to build anything with beem / python to work recently.
Beem hasn't had any active development in 5 years. One of the biggest parts to this proposal is we are going to fork and actively maintain a new port called Nectar, so even if beem comes back to life down the road, this will in the end be a different beast.
I've been working behind the scenes getting it started. Fixing things I know are broken, or haven't been working in ages. As an example. Did you know when you do update_nodes()
the benchmark it is using is from 2022. Some of those nodes aren't even active anymore. So, I reverse engineered the "fullnodeupdate" and called it NectarFlower, with current (well, daily at the moment) node lists.
The soon to be daily post (100% powered up) Full API Node Update
And this is barely scratching the surface of what's in store.
If you like the stuff I've been doing you can actively support us with a vote
