Hey everyone,
Just a quick post today to announce a small but useful update to the Market Viewr app based on some great community feedback!
Someone reached out and pointed out (quite correctly!) that having the "null" account listed in a token's richlist wasn't particularly helpful and could be a bit confusing. Since tokens sent to null
are effectively burned, it makes more sense to represent that information clearly.
So, I've made a couple of tweaks to how token information is displayed:
- Cleaner Richlist: The
null
account (if it holds any tokens) is no longer displayed directly in the richlist table. This keeps the richlist focused on actual user/project accounts. - "Burned Tokens" Stat: I've added a new field to the token information section that explicitly shows the total amount of tokens held by the
null
account, labeling it as "Burned Tokens" and also showing what percentage of the total supply that represents. - "% of Circulation" Added to Richlist: The richlist table now also includes a "% of Circulation" column. This column shows what percentage of the circulating supply (Total Supply - Burned Tokens) each account holds, giving a better picture of an account's stake in the actively available tokens.
Here's a quick look at the updated BRO token info page as an example:
These changes should make the token information, especially the richlist and burn details, a bit clearer and more immediately useful.
Thanks to the community member who pointed out the null
account display – your feedback helps make these tools better!
EDIT: Thank you to those who spoke up in the comments. It now includes a staked column and shows the total balance and percentage.
As always,
