These days wherever I go in the city I see glittering lights; every street is decorated with lights and it all looks very colorful. Me and hubby got out for a drive late in the evening, we went to this area called Bandra, in this place lot of Catholics live, during Christmas and New Year it's like this whole place comes to life. Even on other times, this place is always very busy because it is full of shopping, and here you can shop in all range, there are road side shops as well as boutiques and malls. Let me tell you, the road side stuff may sound cheap but then sometimes you can get a good deal here. I come here for shopping many times. I do not like to buy very expensive things, I like to buy it cheap so that I can change it often and have variety.
We were in the car and passing by so the pictures have come shaky but you can still see how this place is decorated with lights, and this whole area has lights like these.
On the trees, on the houses everywhere there are lights.

This place was extravagant, there was so much traffic and there was no place to park else I would have loved to get down for a while and take all of these pictures
Some decorations were simple and elegant whereas some were jazzy but all of them gave a good vibe to the place and make the place shine up.
The beauty of India is that it's a multicultural country and everyone here celebrates all the festivals. Be it Diwali, Eid or Christmas you will feel the vibe around and you will know that it's a time of celebrations. Be it whatever community or region one belongs to here, they will be part of each others traditions and culture and honor each other by getting involved in it. Such is the beauty of my Country and that's why I love this land.
