The time machine one click away.
It's amazing how instantly all these things work - the remnants of a bygone era that are still alive and in use.
I don't think there are other things that can act in the same way. It's for a moment, then you're in another place. Absolutely unconscious. This is when you actually once lived in that era.
Jung says that smells are what can call up forgotten memories on the surface of consciousness. But so do objects. Not exactly memories, just a shift of consciousness and subconsciousness, just a sinking into another time and place.
Maybe I want to be politically correct and not mention anything more, but you see what I'm talking about anyway.
It does not need any further clarifications.
