I guess we all have some or the other superstitious beliefs. Honestly in the past I had many and with time they all started looking so illogical to me that I changed my way of thinking on them. Wherever I could not find any logic or proof, I decided to let go off those beliefs. These superstitious beliefs were passed on to me by my elders. They would tell me, do not cut your nails after sunset, do not cut your hair on Saturdays and those kind of things. If I would ask them why they would tell me, it brings bad luck. But the question remain unanswered, why does it bring bad luck.
With that, it does not mean that I have no such beliefs now. There are not many but there are couple of them which I have. Like if I hear a crow cawing then I feel it brings bad luck to me in the form of financial loss. My son tells me that there are crows all over, and they keep cawing all the time, so that is not very logical. And I understand, it's very fair for him to say. So, there is a certain way in which if I hear them, then I know that for sure it is not a good sign for me. If I see black feathers then that's a sign of something bad going to happen in the family, it can be health related majorly.
I have tracked these things over the years and sometimes even tried to ignore them, but every time they turn out true to the belief I hold. Now I am very sure about it, though my son and hubby still tells me, that it's in my mind and I am just being superstitious about it. I tell them these are not my superstitious beliefs but these are the signs of the Universe, so when something not good is going to happen, the Universe is giving me these signs and preparing me to face the situation. Not that I can change anything about it but when I get these signs then it does concern me a lot and I am mentally prepared to face it.
While they think it's my superstitious beliefs, I feel it's the way of the Universe speaking to me through signs and I strongly believe that Universe does have it's own way to communicate and if we ignore then it will stop communicating with us.
