Barça and Real Madrid are two of the teams that have not had any matches broadcast on free-to-air television. Nor have Athletic Bilbao, Atlético de Madrid, Betis, and Valencia. Barça and Real Madrid, due to their large following and their sporting expectations, can generate traction on pay television.
