Winning against Espanyol would give Barça the league title, so they have already planned a celebration for tomorrow in the streets of Barcelona.
Real Madrid's last-minute victory against Mallorca delayed Barça's likely title victory, and a win in Cornellà would see them crowned LaLiga champions.
With the possibility of winning another title, the Blaugrana's third this season, the club is already preparing a parade through the streets of Barcelona to celebrate alongside their fans. According to Joan Salamaña, general coordinator of sporting events for the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Football League), the celebration will take place on Friday afternoon/evening from Camp Nou to the Arc de Triomf. The same route as the last parade, held in 2023, in which the men's and women's teams celebrated the titles they each won that season.
With the entire procession ready to be deployed tomorrow, all that remains is for Hansi Flick's team to win against Espanyol in the derby. If not, the title race will be delayed until at least Sunday, and therefore the celebration will not take place tomorrow.
