What's up, everyone!
I just want to share what happened today regarding our water supply here in the municipality of Polangui.
As we all know, the weather is really hot these days.

Because of the intense heat, the water source is getting a bit low and it is becoming hard to get water directly from our usual lines.
So, to make sure that every household has what they need, the local government has this helpful program.

They send water trucks directly to our houses so we can fill up our containers.
We already prepared our pails and drums early this morning.

We were waiting for them to arrive so we could get supplies.
But it seems they had a lot of areas to cover, so they actually came here in the afternoon. 😅

When they arrived, the sun was really strikingly hot!

But of course, we still went out to fill our containers.
Our neighbors were also there waiting in line. It was nice to see everyone helping each other out.

And since it was so hot and we finally had plenty of water... well, you know what happened!
The heat was just too much, so our kids were encouraged to take a bath right away!

It felt so good and refreshing. The cold water was perfect to cool down.
Honestly, it was a good experience. We are thankful that even though it is summer and water is scarce, there is this program to help us. It made our day easier.
How about in your place? Is water also hard to get these days? Let me know in the comments!
