For today, I want to show you a few of those details, shots of certain subjects like sculptures, a bit of architecture, and other things that are essential elements for these photographic compositions, where there is a bit of contrast and texture to create the different settings that fit perfectly and harmoniously in the black and white style. Therefore, this post focuses on the details in each of those subjects.
Among the sculptures, the figure of Simón Bolívar is most prominent. He is very common throughout Venezuela among the many statues honoring him, as many know his history. There are also other figures I don't really recognize, perhaps an important figure in history, and another, a figure associated more with religion, perhaps a saint.
I generally like to take close-up shots of anything. It's like seeking a different perspective on the motifs that exist within this visual plane. Whether you're a photography amateur or professional, you seek to fit those shapes into the photographic frame, so that the perspective is a little more appropriate for the desired composition.
All photographs are my own.
