Hello, friends of the #ShadowHunters community, thanks to my friend @melinda010100 for inviting us to this initiative in her Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest-Round 399.

Yesterday my wife and I were feeling a bit melancholic, you could say, because we were alone. Our daughter was at her boyfriend’s house and the silence at home felt bigger than usual.

Not really knowing what to do, we decided to go for a walk and reached the seashore. There, while contemplating the tranquility of the waves and the soft sound of the wind, I noticed the shadow that our bodies projected on the sand. It was a simple image, but full of meaning, two silhouettes together, sharing the same moment of calm, even in melancholy.

I couldn’t resist taking a photo to participate in this contest, because sometimes shadows also reflect the light we carry within.

The photos were taken with a mobile phone and for the English version I used Google Translator.

Hola, amigos de la comunidad #ShadowHunters, gracias a la amiga @melinda010100 por convocarnos a esta iniciativa en su Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest-Round 399.

En el día de ayer mi esposa y yo nos encontrábamos un poco melancólicos, podría decirse, porque estábamos solos. Nuestra hija se encontraba en casa de su novio y el silencio del hogar se sentía más grande de lo habitual.

Sin saber muy bien qué hacer, decidimos salir a caminar y llegamos hasta la orilla del mar. Allí, mientras contemplábamos la tranquilidad de las olas y el sonido suave del viento, noté la sombra que nuestros cuerpos proyectaban sobre la arena. Era una imagen sencilla, pero cargada de significado, dos siluetas unidas, compartiendo un mismo momento de calma, incluso en la melancolía.

No pude evitar sacar una foto para participar en este concurso, porque a veces las sombras también reflejan la luz que llevamos dentro.

Las fotos son hechas con el móvil y para la versión en inglés utilicé el traductor de Google.
