Reflections in an Empty Room (Part 4)
Hello, friends of the #ShadowHunters community, thanks to our friend @olgavita for inviting us to this initiative in her Reflection Hunters Contest – Round 266.
These days, the room continues to be a silent witness to this routine that repeats itself between work and distance. Time here feels different, marked by pauses, by absences, and by the small details that often go unnoticed.
This time, the reflection appears in the large bathroom mirror, in the sink area. There is no human figure in it, only objects: a hair dryer, a small mirror, part of the sink, and the marble countertop. A simple composition, almost minimal, yet full of quiet presence.
What caught my attention was precisely that absence. No movement, no faces, just the stillness of objects that seem to wait. The reflection does not tell a story directly, but it suggests one. In a space temporarily inhabited, even the most ordinary elements begin to feel different, as if they were part of a paused scene.
The photos were taken with my mobile phone, and for the English version I used Google Translate.

Reflejos en una habitación vacía (Parte 4)
Hola, amigos de la comunidad #ShadowHunters, gracias a la amiga @olgavita por convocarnos a esta iniciativa en su Reflection Hunters Contest – Round 266.
Por estos días, la habitación sigue siendo testigo silencioso de esta rutina que se repite entre el trabajo y la distancia. El tiempo aquí parece transcurrir de otra manera, marcado por las pausas, las ausencias y los pequeños detalles que muchas veces pasan desapercibidos.
Esta vez, el reflejo aparece en el espejo grande del baño, en el área del lavamanos. No hay figura humana en él, solo objetos: una secadora de pelo, un espejo pequeño y parte del lavamanos con su meseta de mármol. Una composición sencilla, casi minimalista, pero llena de una presencia silenciosa.
Lo que más me llamó la atención fue precisamente esa ausencia. No hay movimiento, no hay rostros, solo la quietud de objetos que parecen esperar. El reflejo no cuenta una historia de forma directa, pero la sugiere. En un espacio habitado de forma temporal, incluso lo más cotidiano empieza a sentirse diferente, como si todo formara parte de una escena en pausa.
Las fotos fueron tomadas con el móvil y para la versión en inglés utilicé el traductor de Google.
