We've been very happy to have this kind of family celebration and preparation with all of the family members are present in this upcoming New Year, we are enjoying our best to the fullest.
There are many events that happened during New Year, one is taking photos to the whole family, some took photos of each of the family members including us. There were some that are eating before the New Year comes and lastly were tossing coins.
Well, I think this is a productive year for us and we were rejoicing the things that we had and the moments that we made during this time of the Year.
We prepare some fruits, foods, viands, chocolates, cakes, and desserts. There is this tradition about having 13 kinds of fruits and we do that one whenever we celebrated New Year. Also, we cannot forget about making some desserts for the New Year and one of our favorite dessert is the macaroni salad as well as the spaghetti.
There are some other viands that our dad cook before New Year and there are different kinds of viands that he cook all day. As I also didn't help them while cooking these foods because I am working in another city and I went home in the afternoon and I am really tired from work but we only help by cleaning the house together with my wife.
It's really fun to work together as we will celebrate the New Year because we were complete last December 31st and waiting for the New Year to come.
There are some visitors that visited in our house and some were drinking alcoholic drinks together with my dad and my little brother but I didn't join them because I don't usually drink alcoholic drinks.
After the clock ticks at 12 midnight (which is the New Year) we were eating together and we were very happy to celebrate this New Year. There are some were continuing on what they were doing and that is drinking, some were playing music, some were making a noise for the New Year with their vehicles, and others were doing something for themselves.
After a few minutes, my little brother partner gets a big tub of coins in their room because she will toss all of the coins that she had in her tub. They save that coin money for a year so that they can toss it during the New Year.
There are people that joined in on getting the coins outside the house. There are some kids that also joined and collect the coins from the ground.
As our little brother's partner toss the coins all over our front yard, we (the people that gets the money from the ground) were very happy to get a few of them.
We ended our New Year celebration a happy one with our smiles on face that showed that we were enjoying our moment and making our memories together and I think this year will be a productive year for us and not just for us but for all of the people around the world.
