Last season, I played some great battles with the Legendary Elf Archon Elowen Sylphie. Although I wasn't able to play many battles due to personal commitments, overall, I noticed that my win rate had improved somewhat. This season, I'm joining a little late again, so today I decided to test some more cards this season. First, I'll be testing the Legendary Elf Archon Elowen Sylphie this season as well, because after one season, I've realised that the Archon is great, unlike Captain Frankie, who had some flaws. So far, I haven't found any such flaws in Elowen Sylphie, which means I'm probably planning to purchase it in the near future. so it will remain a part of my deck. Besides that, I've also added a brand new Legendary Human Archon, Cryptic, to my deck this season. Reason one: I wanted a Legendary Archon in the Death and Water elements that would somehow empower me so I could create a better strategy with those cards.

Cryptic is a human archon by bloodline. This archon is not from the Conclave Arcana set, but from the Rebellion set, which allows it to summon cards from two elements. A major reason for including this archon in my deck was that it saved me from having to add two different archons for two different elements. And frankly, I needed the Legendary Archon for these two elements. Secondly, its powers, which reduce the speed of all enemy cards by -1, are significant, as speed undoubtedly matters in battles. Furthermore, its Blind power allows all enemy melee and ranged attack cards to miss their targets by 15%.

These two powers are its default powers, which will apply to all enemy cards. Apart from this, it also has two more bonus options, which you can apply to any two cards on the battlefield. The first option is Enfeeble and Retaliate, and the second option is Expose and Poison. If you ask me, both of these options are amazing. Although I have never used Expose, I have used the other three individually at some point or the other. Still, I am not sure which set of powers I will use because I am still unsure about their impact on the battlefield. Among these, Enfeeble and Retaliate are the set of powers that I think I will like the most, but still, I can't say right now because I will use all these powers extensively throughout this season and will tell you what the strengths of this legendary Archon are and in what kind of situations it can be weak. But it's true that, Just Like Captain Frankie and Elowen Sylphie, at first glance, this Arachne is something to like, and with that, it seems that this season will also improve a bit in my rankings.
Anyway, Cryptic will be part of my deck this season along with Elowen Sylphie, and I'll be sharing with you the battles and lessons I've learned with these two legends!
Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥
