In this week's Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge Theme: Explore and Expand Splinterlands Lore We will talk about my recent favourite card Giant Alpine Skink and learn about his background and the story of his legacy in Splinterlands. Although this story is based on lores points, it will be largely fictional. I hope you like this story however right now I don't even know what I am going to write but that's also a good thing because this way it will have something fresh and creative! 😎
The Northern Highlands, where this species resides, is very close to Icewall Bay and there are many other kingdoms nearby where humans often become prey while trying to hunt these lizards, so this area is particularly dominated by these giant lizards. They usually do not hunt humans, but if someone comes too close to them, they consider him a threat and attack and eat him too. Now that you know this, remember never to get too close to these lizards because even if they are full and satiated, they will not hesitate to kill you considering you a threat.
According to experts, lizards have evolved from crocodiles but if you look further back in time, you can clearly see the characteristics of dinosaurs, especially in this species. And on the battlefield, it really fights fearlessly like a T-Rex. Because of its thick protective skin, it takes 50% less damage from physical attacks and both its attacking power and speed are commendable, which further improves with higher levels. Whenever a Water summoner summons monsters associated with that element, this Giant Alpine Skink is one of the few monsters at the forefront just needing an excuse to fight. By protecting themselves with evolution, they have succeeded in establishing their dominance both in water and land. But competing with them, especially in water, is not an easy task. So, if you have a strong strategy and a good team, you will be seen loading up on some really good monsters of this whole Splinterlands.
