July has always been my favourite month in the hills.
This is when the monsoon truly settles in, and the hills begin to wear clouds instead of shadows. The valleys slowly fill with fog, and before you know it, the mountains that looked so close a few minutes ago disappear behind a soft white curtain. Then, just as quietly, they return again.
जुलाई हमेशा से पहाड़ों में मेरा सबसे पसंदीदा महीना रही है।यही वह समय होता है जब मानसून पूरी तरह अपना रंग दिखाने लगता है। पहाड़ों पर अब सिर्फ़ परछाइयाँ नहीं, बल्कि बादलों की चादर ओढ़ी हुई होती है। घाटियाँ धीरे-धीरे धुंध से भरने लगती हैं, और देखते ही देखते जो पहाड़ कुछ पल पहले बिल्कुल सामने दिखाई दे रहे थे, वे एक मुलायम सफेद धुंध के पर्दे के पीछे छिप जाते हैं। फिर उतनी ही ख़ामोशी से, जैसे कुछ हुआ ही न हो, वे दोबारा सामने आ जाते हैं। ☁️🏔️
I spotted this amazing view today, and I couldn’t stop looking at it. The clouds kept drifting through the hills, changing the landscape every few minutes. Right in the middle, you can spot a temple with its distinctive roof, standing quietly as the mist moved around it. It was such a peaceful sight.
आज मुझे यह बेहद खूबसूरत नज़ारा देखने को मिला, और सच कहूँ तो मेरी नज़रें इस पर से हट ही नहीं रही थीं। बादल धीरे-धीरे पहाड़ियों के बीच बह रहे थे, जिससे हर कुछ मिनटों में पूरा दृश्य बदल जाता था। ठीक बीच में अपनी अलग पहचान वाली छत के साथ एक मंदिर दिखाई देता है, जो धुंध के बीच बिल्कुल शांत खड़ा था। यह नज़ारा इतना सुकूनभरा था कि बस कुछ देर वहीं खड़े होकर उसे निहारने का मन करता रहा।
Although I’m not the biggest fan of rainy weather, views like these make it completely worth it. Every July, these views make me fall in love with the mountains all over again. ☁️🏔️🌧️
हालाँकि मुझे बरसात का मौसम ज़्यादा पसंद नहीं है, लेकिन ऐसे नज़ारे इसे पूरी तरह सार्थक बना देते हैं। हर जुलाई, ये दृश्य मुझे पहाड़ों से फिर से प्यार करने पर मजबूर कर देते हैं। ☁️🏔️🌧️💚
