Today didn’t feel like a busy day. It felt slow, almost sleepy.The sun was strong but gentle, spreading warmth over the balcony, the walls, and the rooftops.
आज का दिन व्यस्त नहीं लगा। यह धीमा और थोड़ा उनींदा सा महसूस हो रहा था। धूप तेज़ थी, लेकिन नरम भी, जो बालकनी, दीवारों और छतों पर गर्माहट फैला रही थी।
One of the cats sat quietly in the window frame, soaking in the sunlight. It looked completely calm, as if it had drifted into its own peaceful world. The light fell gently across its face, making the whole moment feel soft and still. It sat there like it truly belonged to that little corner,quiet, comfortable, and at ease.
बिल्लियों में से एक खिड़की के फ्रेम में चुपचाप बैठी धूप सेंक रही थी। वह पूरी तरह शांत दिख रही थी, जैसे अपने ही सुकून भरे संसार में खो गई हो। उसके चेहरे पर गिरती हल्की धूप पूरे पल को नरम और ठहरा हुआ बना रही थी। वह वहाँ ऐसे बैठी थी जैसे उस छोटे से कोने की ही हो। शांत, आरामदायक और बिल्कुल बेफिक्र।
On the balcony, another cat had taken over a patch of sunlight as if it were its own little throne. It lay stretched out on the floor, eyes half-closed, completely at ease. The hills rose quietly behind it and the sky stretched wide above, but the cat seemed uninterested in any of it. For that moment, the warmth of the sun was all it needed.
बालकनी में दूसरी बिल्ली ने धूप की एक पट्टी पर जैसे अपना ही हक जमा लिया था। वह फर्श पर पूरी तरह फैलकर लेटी थी, आँखें आधी बंद, बिल्कुल बेफिक्र। उसके पीछे पहाड़ियाँ खामोशी से खड़ी थीं और ऊपर आसमान खुला और विशाल था, लेकिन बिल्ली को जैसे इन सबसे कोई मतलब नहीं था। उस पल उसके लिए बस धूप की गर्माहट ही काफी थी।
