I was going through some old folders today and stumbled upon these photos from a trip a few years back. It instantly took me back to that day when we had gone to a temple on a hill. You know those places where the journey itself feels just as special as the destination? It was one of those.
आज मैं अपने पुराने फोल्डर्स देख रही थी, तभी मुझे कुछ तस्वीरें मिल गईं जो कुछ साल पहले की एक यात्रा की याद दिला गईं। हम एक पहाड़ी मंदिर गए थे, और सच कहूं तो वो जगह ऐसी थी जहाँ मंज़िल जितनी खूबसूरत थी, उतना ही खास उसका सफर भी था।
I remember the climb being slow but peaceful.As we reached higher, the view kept opening up..layers and layers of hills stretching endlessly, fading softly into the distance. My brother was with me, and of course, I made him pose for pictures. He wasn’t very enthusiastic at first (as usual), but he gave in eventually. Looking at these photos now, I’m really glad he did.
मुझे याद है कि चढ़ाई धीमी लेकिन बहुत सुकून भरी थी। जैसे-जैसे हम ऊपर जाते गए, नज़ारा और खुलता गया… पहाड़ों की परतें एक के बाद एक दूर तक फैली हुई थीं, जो धीरे-धीरे धुंध में खोती जा रही थीं। मेरे साथ मेरा भाई भी था, और मैंने उसे तस्वीरों के लिए पोज़ देने को कहा। हमेशा की तरह वह पहले थोड़ा हिचकिचाया, लेकिन बाद में मान गया। अब जब मैं ये तस्वीरें देखती हूँ, तो सच में अच्छा लगता है कि उसने पोज़ दे दिया।
I also remember those bare trees along the pathway, with little things tied to their branches, probably by visitors And then there was that open viewpoint with the railing, where we just stood for a while doing nothing.
मुझे वो रास्ते के किनारे खड़े सूखे पेड़ भी याद हैं, जिन पर लोगों ने छोटी-छोटी चीज़ें बाँध रखी थीं, शायद किसी आस्था या याद के रूप में। फिर एक खुला सा व्यू पॉइंट था, जहाँ रेलिंग के पास हम कुछ देर बस यूँ ही खड़े रहे बिना कुछ बोले, बस उस पल को महसूस करते हुए।
At that time, it was just another day, another small trip. But now, looking back, it feels like one of those simple, peaceful memories that stay with you longer than you expect.
उस समय ये बस एक छोटा सा ट्रिप था, एक सामान्य सा दिन। लेकिन अब जब पीछे मुड़कर देखती हूँ, तो लगता है कि ये उन सादे और शांत पलों में से एक था, जो उम्मीद से ज्यादा देर तक दिल में रह जाते हैं।
