When the weather gets really hot, you have to be careful and take steps to protect yourself from heatstroke or falling sick because of the heat, because I got sick and had to take medicine at night because my head was throbbing.
जब मौसम बहुत ज्यादा गर्म हो जाता है, तो खुद का ध्यान रखना और हीट स्ट्रोक या गर्मी से बीमार होने से बचने के लिए जरूरी कदम उठाना बहुत जरूरी होता है, क्योंकि मैं खुद बीमार पड़ गई थी और रात में मुझे दवाई लेनी पड़ी, मेरा सिर बहुत तेज़ दर्द कर रहा था।
Last week, when the heat was at its peak, I had to step out in the sun to visit the hospital with my mother. The sunlight felt extremely harsh, and everything around looked unusually bright and sharp.
पिछले हफ्ते, जब गर्मी अपने चरम पर थी, मुझे अपनी माँ के साथ अस्पताल जाना पड़ा। धूप बहुत तेज़ थी और हर चीज़ असामान्य रूप से ज्यादा चमकदार और चुभती हुई लग रही थी।
On our way back home, my mother stopped to get a kulcha, but it wasn’t enough and we were still hungry, so we decided to have a dosa instead.
घर लौटते समय माँ ने एक कुलचा लिया, लेकिन उससे पेट नहीं भरा, इसलिए हमने सोचा कि डोसा खा लेते हैं।
The roads were scattered with leaves, and for a moment it felt like one of those aesthetic scenes where you just want to click a quick picture of your shoes. Anyway, the dosa turned out to be really good.
सड़क पर जगह-जगह पत्ते बिखरे हुए थे। एक पल के लिए ऐसा लगा जैसे यह कोई एस्थेटिक सा सीन हो, जहाँ जूतों की फोटो लेने का मन करता है। वैसे डोसा सच में बहुत स्वादिष्ट था।
By then, we were completely exhausted and just wanted to get back home as soon as possible. We walked through whatever shade we could find, made our way down to the main road, and finally headed home.
तब तक हम काफी थक चुके थे और बस जल्दी से घर पहुँचना चाहते थे। जहाँ-जहाँ छाया मिलती गई, हम उसी में चलते हुए नीचे मुख्य सड़क तक पहुँचे और फिर घर लौट आए।
