This week flew on by, I can't believe it's already Sunday. On top of that Easter Sunday, wasn't it just St Patrick's Day? As they say time flies and stops for no man or woman.
Before we jump into today's post I want to support @bradleyarrow in his BBHO Power UP Day. I powered up all of the BBHO I had liquid.
I like mentioning BBHO as it's related to the BBH project, and every Sunday I do give out some of my personal BBH tokens to a couple lucky winners. BBHO and BBH both give a drip of tokens each Saturday depending on how many you hold. You can check the BBH page for more info or contact @bradleyarrow help!
I also give out some of my personal CCD tokens from the @cryptocompany each week. It's a great project run by @powerpaul and coming up on it's third anniversary. Congratulations! For more info please check the web site: https://cryptocompany.ceo
Onto today's giveaway, last week's entry question was about your favorite computer manufacturer. I really wasn't sure who would come out on top, but there was a clear consensus on this one!
Mac/Apple
The big winner this week was Mac! This American company has been around since 1984 although the innovative roots extend back into the late 1970's. Getting their big start after Steve Jobs entered the picture in 1981 and launching a commercial during the Super Bowl in 1984. They've been busy ever since. They did have a slow down in the early 1990's prompting the return of Steve Jobs, they eventually launched to iPhone changing the world. But their Mac computers are still a fan favorite and has a very loyal following. If only they weren't so expensive... Thanks to @bigorna1 , @elizabethbit , @silvertop , @vaynard86 , @geneeverett , @gwajnberg , @henruc , @silverd510 , @josediccus , @middle-earthling , @angeluxx , @ladymisa and @tortangkahoy !
Dell
This American company was founded in 1984 producing IBM clone computers but has grown to the third largest producer of personal computers worldwide. I've used Dell products before and always was happy with them, and most Dell fans tend to stick with them, so they must be doing something right. Thanks for this pick to @doombot75 , @ronnie10 , @servelle , @dewabrata , @gatet ,@hafiz34 and @tengolotodo .
Lenovo
Founded in Beijing, China in 1984 this company has grown to be one to the top electronics producers in the world. Acquiring IBM's personal computer business in 2005 set their course on growing their computer sector. They produce quality electronics at affordable prices, although I've never owned one people seem to like them and innovate new technologies. Thanks to @rainbowdash4l , @monsterbuster , @olaf.gui , @beelzael and @freed99 for this pick!
Hewlett Packard
Founded in 1939 producing electrical testing equipment they moved into the world of the personal computers by gradual progression. By the 1970's and into the 1980's they were leaders among computer technology. This now defunct company produced great computers and I even owned on at one point. The company split in 2015 the HP Inc and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Even as spinoffs they produce great machines today.
Great pick by @mytechtrail , @okarun , @lanzjoseg and @stekene .
Commodore
@whywhy chose this computer company as his first computer was a Commodore. This now defunct company produced some of the earliest computers in the late 1970's and early 1980's including the Commodore 64. Internal conflicts led to top talent leaving and by 1994 they had filed for bankruptcy. Nothing lasts forever...
And for honorable mentions are Microsoft from @sylmarill , @cositav and @dominic1 . Also Acer by @florakese and @hatdogsensei , then Huawei by @lumpiadobo . Chromebook is a great choice from @melinda010100 ! And to round out we had MSI from @flummi97 and a Venezuelan government computer CANAIMA by @yusmelys .
Now moving onto the question for this week's entry.
What is your favorite Chinese Food dish?
The Giveaway
I will be giving out one prize of five (5) HSBI. Second and Third prizes will be 2 DUO tokens, the token I recently launched with @bulliontools and @bitcoinman . At the end of the post there is a link to the white paper and where to purchase the tokens. Fourth prize is 100 BBH tokens. Fifth prize will be 250 CCD tokens. To participate you need a reputation level of at least 25 and bots cannot win. And please one entry per person to make it fair to everyone.
If you would like to be placed on a weekly reminder list just let me know and I'll make sure you get tagged each week.
