Today’s blog is for those people who are confused about whether they should participate in Holozing liquidity pools or not. I will share my personal experience with you, and I will also tell you what was the results I got last week after I added more funds into the liquidity pool.
Hopefully, after reading this blog, you will get a better idea of whether you should participate in Holozing liquidity pools or not.
The flow chart above shows the valuation of my liquidity pool in Holozing. But friends, please don’t focus too much on the chart because I had added liquidity to the pool about a year ago. I added more again just last week, and that’s why the chart currently looks like it's going downwards.
The reason the chart shows a drop is because, over time, the value of the $ZING token has gone down. And because of that, the total asset valuation in the liquidity pool also appears lower now.
If you haven’t read my previous blog, I would request you to go check it out. In that post, I explained what liquidity pools are and how they work. So, if you’re not familiar with how liquidity pools function, it’s better to read that blog first.
In the screenshot above, you can see that last week I added 100 ZING tokens along with 0.15 HIVE tokens into the liquidity pool. This was a very small amount because I was just experimenting. But the overall percentage result will remain almost the same whether you add a small or large amount, because the liquidity pool rewards stay the same.
Right now, the APR is around 72%,
Friends, in the screenshot above, you can see that my daily reward distribution is now more than 4 ZING tokens. But these rewards are not just for the liquidity I added last week. These rewards are for the liquidity I added last week and also for the ones I added earlier.
Before I added liquidity last week, I used to get around 2.5 ZING tokens every day. But now, as we can see, it has increased to around 4.1 ZING tokens. That means I got almost 1.6 ZING tokens more per day, which is a good benefit.
So friends, now it's up to you to decide if you want to play with liquidity pools or not. If you ask me, I would say that if you trust the Holozing project and their team, then you can take part in the liquidity pools. Because in the coming time, when the game is launched and becomes playable, the token price will hopefully increase.
Even if you don't want to play the game later and just want to stay active in the liquidity pools, I would like to tell you that it will take around half a year to earn 300 zing tokens at current rate. Last week, we invested around 200 ZING tokens, out of which 100 were in ZING tokens and the other 100 ZING worth was in Hive.
So in short to make 50% on our investment in terms of zing token, we will have to give half a year to the liquidity pools which can obviously vary depending upon so many other factors.
Friends, I hope this blog helped you decide whether you should participate in the liquidity pools or not. Personally, I believe in the Holozing team, but in the end, it’s your decision whether you want to participate in the liquidity pools or not.
Personally, I will increase my liquidity in this over time and wait to see whether it turns out to be the right decision for me or not. I go by the rule of investing what I am ready to lose.
