Nice blue skies this morning. Cold and clear 2F 🥶 the cold days are often the prettiest because when the sky is clear this time of year the temperatures drop overnight.
Overcast skies hold in some warmth but can make for gray, dreary days. I pulled a few photos from different walks over the last week.
The sunlight this morning really highlighted the icy conditions.
The sun is still in the south and always appears to be "coming around the corner" as it rises on the southern end of the lake in the winter.
This is from earlier in our walk as we approach the lake. The lake is over the tree covered ridge. We were a little behind this morning and the sun was already coming up.
