Here are a few of this week's sightings for this #featheredfriday

Here is a song sparrow belting his song out. It takes quite an effort to do their hehaw song. You can tell they inhale a bunch of air then let it all out as loud as they can lol.

Here is a female cardinal eating an invasive berry that has very little nutritional value... But these berries are sweet. Let's hope it manages to eat some sunflower seeds later on.

Here is her boyfriend in another berry tree. Maybe these berries aren't quite as ripe but they might have more nutrition.

I saw a leucistic American robin but sadly this was the best shot I could get of it. You can kind of see some of its side wings covered in white and a good portion of its breast and head was white too.

By comparison here is a normal robin cleaning its beak on some evergreen berriesk, they kind of chew them up then spit them out. The leucistic robin had an almost white head and most of the red feathers on its breast were white. I wish I could have gotten a better shot of that rare bird.

Now for a standard starling. They are quite iridescent in the sun and quite chattery.

Here is a noisy blue jay looking for insects under a tree. They are quite common but I rarely can ever get a good shot of one, they move around too quickly.

Now for a tame house sparrow not cooperating with me by turning around. I made some chirping noises at him.

Finally I caught its attention and it glared a bit at me before flying off. Perhaps one of my chirp noises was a cuss word in its language lol.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
