Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - Not as Cute as Me! Hope you enjoy the story.
Uncle Xen! exclaimed Xavier as he ran down the hallway opening his arm toward Xen who has just return from Europe on a business trip for a good 2 months.
Xavier has always been close to his uncle Xen since he was a child as Xen is a successful single in his 30s who dotes on Xavier likes his own. Always giving in to his request so long is within his means.
2 months ago before he left for his business trip, he has Xavier a gift for his 6th birthday when he returns. He has not forgotten about that.
He led Xavier to the backseat of his car and brings out a box with a little puppy, Xen adopted the dog from an animal shelter while he was on his trip and he was telling Xavier how cute this little one is.
To his surprise, Xavier screamed "It is not as cute as me!" and he went back without a second thought. Xen was puzzled as he thought Xavier would love it and imagine him laughing on his way back. After a good talk, Xen realized Xavier thought the puppy would split his love and attention he would receive from his Uncle Xen.
What a relief for Xen as he assures him this would not happen. Thought of a kid.
