Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well! ☺️❤️🙏
As I was scrolling through my phone gallery earlier, I came across some pictures that made me pause for a moment. They were photos of me and my ex during one of our dine outs together, this one was at a samgyupsal restaurant. 🤭
Seeing the pictures brought back a lot of memories, some happy, some bittersweet, but mostly just a reminder of how time changes everything.
Back then, eating outside was our thing. That was our bonding time. We both love food, and every dine out felt extra special when we were together. We didn’t need anything fancy, just good food, laughter, and each other's company. That was more than enough.
Looking at the pictures, I see myself smiling in my floral dress while seated at the table. In front of us is a full spread of delicious Korean food such as grilled pork belly on the grill, japchae, kimchi, tteokbokki, seasoned chicken, french fries, ramen soup, and more. The table looks full, just like my heart did that time. I decided to cover his face in the photo because this memory isn’t really about him anymore. It's about the moment, not the person anymore. It’s about me, and the version of me who loved deeply and learned the hard way. ☺️
We’re not together now. And I don’t feel sad about it anymore. Because as I look at it now, I don’t feel anything heavy. I’m not hurt anymore. I don’t cry like I used to. I no longer feel sorry for myself for all the heartaches I went through because of him. Maybe that’s what healing really feels like, when the past is just a story, not a wound. ☺️🙏
Now, that photo is just one of many in my gallery. This one is a reminder of a love that didn’t last but taught me a lot. A simple capture of a time that once felt so important but is now just a memory, one that shaped me, made me stronger, and brought me back to myself. It’s strange how something that once broke you becomes something that no longer hurts. Time really does its magic. ☺️❤️🙏
Have a Blessed Monday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖
