Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well!
The day we celebrated my bestfriend mother's 60th birthday at Karigusan Beach was extra special for me. I almost missed it! I had just arrived from Cebu that day and rushed straight to the beach in Karigusan Carigara, eager to join the celebration.
Even with my bags, I didn’t waste a moment. I made my way to the beach. As I arrived, I felt instantly welcomed when my best friend waited at the beach entrance. She greeted me with hugs, kisses, and excitement all around. It had been far too long since our last face-to-face meeting. She’s in Manila and I’d been in Cebu. So it felt wonderful to reconnect. 😁
After our sweet greetings with each other, she guided me to the rented cottage and offered food. Honestly, I was starving from the trip, and that warm welcome and food was exactly what I needed. 🤭☺️ I gratefully ate, feeling the warm, relaxed atmosphere where the birthday celebrant was busy snapping photos with her grandchildren and I hadn’t even wished her a happy birthday yet! I laughed at myself, eating before greeting her!🤣
Finally, after my late entrance and after I finished eating, I hugged the birthday celebrant, placed a kiss on her cheek, and wished her a truly happy 60th birthday! It felt perfect to be able to celebrate officially, even if a little late. ☺️❤️
Inside the cozy cottage, we then took a snapshot of us three by the elegant and lovely Cheers to 60 years Nanay decoration. ☺️❤️
We also had a snapshot at the charming I ❤️ KARIGUSAN sign, framed by clear blue skies and the serene bay, Carigara Bay, where peaceful waters gently meet the shore .
It was a perfect day, warm, calm, ideal for a beach outing with family. Conversation flowed easily, laughter floated on the breeze, and we shared refreshing coca‑cola under the shade of coconut trees.
Even though my visit was short because I had to return home, it became a memorable moment of connection and celebration. I felt grateful to witness such a meaningful milestone, surrounded by loved ones.
That day reminded me that life’s best moments are rarely perfectly timed, they’re heartfelt. It wasn’t the timing, but the love, the laughter, hug, kisses and the shared happy moments that made it memorable.
To my best friend, Thanks for letting me be part of such a special day, even if only for a little while. ❤️
And to my best friend mother, I hope this year brings you even more love, happiness, good health, laughter, and countless sunny moments like this one.
Have a Blessed Wednesday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖
