If you remember, I shared here our new favorite restaurant in Bansud. I love their Ginataang Langka and Chopsuey because they're really tasty. But we've been visiting their restaurant for five times now, and they are always unavailable and their door has that big CLOSED sign hanging on it. Mama guesses that maybe they already closed down their restaurant. And I'm like, "Noooo! That can't be!" But checking it five times and it's still close means one thing, no?
They don't have the plan to open up anymore. That made me sad, really. ┐(´ー`)┌. This is also what happened to the first restaurant that opened in that particular space. Because of that, I can't eat their delicious spaghetti anymore. Then months later this space opened up but with a different owner. But then, they are not in operation anymore. ⊙﹏⊙
With this one restaurant closed down, we discovered another restaurant not that far from it. It is a small one but can accommodate a few people for dine-in. I already tried buying Adobong Sitaw before, and I like it. Though if I can choose between the new one and the old one, I still prefer the old one.

So we're scheduled to visit the market today, we readied ourselves for a short adventure. I'm with Mama this time. Mama wants to check out this new restaurant because she wants to buy a cooked vegetable dish rather than cook it herself. As for me, I'm still thinking about whether to just buy cooked veggies or not. It's hot, as you can see in the photo, but I'm wearing a hoodie. I have a fever, and I went here with Mama to buy myself some medicine for cough and fever. Hahhh! This sh*t just won't leave me!

We just stopped by a money center for a bit to withdraw some cash. I'll need that to buy medicines. I also have to hand some over for Mama because she already ran out of rice for herself.

And here's the small carinderia. It's really just close by. There are already people eating inside, and for sure a lot already had their takeout. This is just like in Mama's eatery before, the same scenario.

And here are the available dishes on the carinderia. They have veggies and meat from pork to chicken, they have fish too inside those big calderos. They give free soup too, as I observed. The ground pork dish caught my attention the most. I want it! But I have to avoid it. What I need is healthy veggies right now, and a lot of them.
Anyways, they are still cooking most of their veggies here, so Mama didn't buy anything. She bought a Ginisang Munggo in the market in a different carinderia, a little far from here.

So our next stop was in a pharmacy. Mommy D also asked me to buy a hair dye, and I bought it together with my medicine. We have like three pharmacies here, so we had to check the other two as well. The hair dye brand I'm looking for is not available in Weslyn Pharmacy, where we often buy it, while Calinao Pharmacy sold their hair dye of the same brand for 75. Like hello, it's 65 pesos only, why are theirs ten pesos higher? It's a good thing there's more than one pharmacy in here. Not including those that were located near the highway. I bought the hair dye in Gabin Pharmacy for 65 pesos.

We're going home now. I decided to just buy ingredients, and I'll be making veggie soup with ginger and garlic. I will also put sweet potato leaves and okra.

At this point, I can already feel my fever affecting me a lot. I had a severe headache too due to the mucus coming out of my nose. Only after an hour after taking the med do I get better. And during that hour of agonizing pain, I was still able to prepare the ingredients for my soup, haha.

Here's my lunch, just a boiled egg and the vegetable soup I made. I love the little spiciness of the soup thanks to the ginger. It's like it's comforting me ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ. I just hope this time I'll fully get better, because seriously, my over-dramatic self is about to appear again. That's when I wish to just die rather than experience all the sh*t and everything. Yeah, the emotional and overdramatic version of me. Do you also have that episode in your life?
