Quizá muchos piensen que es un poco pronto para comenzar con el tema navideño, pero pienso que la idea es dejarles estos tips con tiempo para que puedan usarlos cuando comiencen a decorar, porque una vez lo hayan hecho esta información no les servirá de mucho, así que dicho esto, hoy les quiero compartir algunas ideas para darle un nuevo aspecto a sus decoraciones Navideñas sin necesidad de invertir grandes sumas de dinero, usando básicamente lo que tengamos en casa, modificando un poco su apariencia para ajustarla a la temática que escojamos.

Como saben, yo amo la navidad, es mi época favorita del año y la mejor festividad del mundo mundial, y aunque de momento los ánimos no sean los mejores porque la situación país nos tiene a muchos con los pelos de punta, por muchas y diferentes razones (por lo menos para mí), la llegada de la navidad le cambia la vibra a todo, y aunque navidad es sinónimo de gastos, hay algunas cosas en las que podemos ahorrar, sobre todo cuando de decoración se trata, ya que contamos con aliados increíbles como Pinterest y el reciclaje.
Y justamente para esto paso hoy por aquí, para dejarles algunas ideas para decorar esta Navidad sin tener que realizar grandes gastos, utilizando materiales económicos, reciclando y adaptando de forma sencilla algunas cosas que tenemos en casa para la temporada navideña 2025.

And even though spirits aren't exactly high right now because the situation in the country has many of us on edge for many different reasons (at least for me), the arrival of Christmas changes the vibe of everything. and although Christmas is synonymous with spending, there are some things we can save on, especially when it comes to decorations, since we have incredible allies like Pinterest and recycling.
And that's exactly why I'm here today, to give you some ideas for decorating this Christmas without having to spend a lot of money, using inexpensive materials, recycling, and easily adapting some things we have at home for the 2025 Christmas season.
Por supuesto todo depende de lo que quieras hacer, así que el primer paso será justamente definir el estilo a seguir para tus decoraciones navideñas, porque sí, hay muchísimas tendencias diferentes, y cada año suelen variar, cambiando así desde los colores, hasta el tipo de decoraciones. En mi caso este año, a diferencia del año pasado, volvemos a una Navidad más tradicional, ya que el año pasado estuve decorando con tonos blancos, tratando de seguir el estilo nórdico, pero para complacer a mis hijos, este 2025 volvemos a lo tradicional, y decidí usar dos de los colores más populares en estas fechas, los colores del traje de santa (rojo y blanco), pero con algunos toques de verde que siempre hacen falta.

In my case this year, unlike last year, we are returning to a more traditional Christmas, since last year I was decorating with white tones, trying to follow the Nordic style, but to please my children, this 2025 we are returning to tradition, and I decided to use two of the most popular colors at this time of year, the colors of Santa's suit (red and white), but with a few touches of green, which are always needed.
Una vez decididos los colores viene el estilo que vamos a usar, y esto dependerá enteramente de nuestros gustos, por ejemplo, puede ser elegante, en cuyo caso pueden incorporar dorado, utilizar materiales con superficies brillantes y muchas luces blancas o amarillas, en mi caso, los chicos querían algo súper navideño, tipo la casa de santa al parecer, así que decidí hacer algo bien colorido pero sobre todo muy cálido, muy acogedor, y según yo, esto lo puedes lograr utilizando materiales como lana o estambre, telas como fieltro y muchos detallitos en cada decoración, pero no te preocupes, no es necesario salir a comprar un montón de cosas, ya que con estambre, fieltro, silicón y muchas horas en pinterest puedes crear tu decoración soñada, así que... manos a la obra
Paso 1
Saca todas tus decoraciones navideñas y decide cuáles puedes usar o modificar
En mi caso, tengo 15 años acumulando cosas, así que tengo una buena variedad, y por dicha amo las manualidades, y hace unos años estuve haciendo muchas cositas en fieltro, justamente en tonos rojos y blancos, como corazones y estrellas, algunas para colgar en el árbol, otras para decorar repisas y hasta guirnaldas hice.
También encontré mis estrellas musicales, y como ven decidí colgarlas en una rama seca, que por cierto están muy en tendencia y como ven, este detalle quedó súper lindo, y el gasto es mínimo.

In my case, I've been accumulating things for 15 years, so I have a good variety, and luckily I love crafts. A few years ago, I was making lots of little things out of felt, specifically in red and white tones, such as hearts and stars, some to hang on the tree, others to decorate shelves, and I even made garlands.
I also found my musical stars, and as you can see, I decided to hang them on a dry branch, which, by the way, is very trendy right now. As you can see, this detail turned out super cute, and the cost is minimal.

Posiblemente no todo lo que tengas se va a ajustar al estilo que escojas para este año, pero estoy segura que con creatividad y algunas modificaciones lo vas a lograr, siempre tratando que las adaptaciones que realices no sean permanentes, cosa de poder usarlas nuevamente con otro estilo y color, y no perderlas para siempre, ya que lo que queremos es ahorrar.
Por aquí les dejo varios ejemplos, como estas estrellas que usé el año pasado, a las que solo les cambié el lazo por uno de color rojo, por otro lado están las guirnaldas blancas en estambre que tejí el año pasado para el árbol de navidad, y que este año usé para colgar en la pared, les agregué un trocito de guirnalda verde y les tejí dos bolitas rojas para ajustarla a la decoración y estuvo listo, y así estuve haciendo con diferentes objetos que hice parte de la decoración agregando algunos detalles en rojo, siempre con estambre.

Here are several examples, such as these stars I used last year, where I just changed the bow to a red one. On the other hand, there are the white yarn garlands I knitted last year for the Christmas tree, which I used this year to hang on the wall. I added a piece of green garland and crocheted two red balls to match the decor, and it was ready. I did the same with different objects that I used as part of the decor, adding some red details, always with yarn.
