I want to share my entry of Weekly Challenge 👩🍳ASEAN Hive Community Challenge #144 👩🍳ASEAN CHEF:Coconut 🥥 I have more idea of what to cook but I pick this recipe Coconut Milk Food Recipe. This is my recipe on how to cook Bicol Express Dish that originated from Bicol City in their popular food the Bicolano people present this natively known "Sinilihan" recipe as the city of people who loved spicy foods.Since elementary days I started to eat spicy foods and specially who know me how I am so much loved the spicy food.Even if I am not a Bicolano.
I cooked this kind of food now coz more than 3 years I am going to taste the savory of this dish again Bicol Express when my sister cooked it for dinner that time.
Now here is the procedures and ingredients for Bicol Express Dish
First I will show you the ingredient list:
- Coconut grated
- Pork Belly 350 grms
- Canola Oil
- Vinegar
- Water
- Pork Cubes
- Magic Sarap Granules
- Black pepper powder
- Chili powder
- Garlic granulated
- Knorr Liquid Seasoning
- Sugar
- Salt
- Garlic
- White onion
- Red onion
- Red bell-pepper
- Long hot chili
- Thai chili
- Spring onion
Preparing Ingredients: The pictures will guide you how.
1.Combine the Coconut Pulp and 1 cup water then squeezed it.
Used a sifter to strain the coconut milk.Set aside for a while preparing.
2.Slice the pork into cubes then slice all the spices,onions,garlic.
3.Put the 1 tbsp salt,1tbsp sugar and 1/2 tbsp magic sarap granules in a small cups and set aside.
Procedure to Cook read and see in Every Pictures
- Heat oil in a cooking pan.
- Put the garlic,second is onion,third is pork,then mixed.
- Put the Black pepper powder,Knorr cubes,sugar,magic sarap
granules,Knorr liquid seasoning,then mixed. - Put a garlic granulated,next is the spices chilli red,green and bell
pepper then mixed - Put the half of coconut milk then sauté and cover for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes we put all the coconut milk,sprinkled with onion and
mixed again then cover and cooked for another 7 minutes before we off
the fire. - Put the cooked Bicol Express Dish in a clean bowl and served. Enjoy
eating everyone.
So deliciously spicy,so yummy.For sure you loved this kind of food to taste and savory spicy lovers out there. 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ I did extra rice for that hehe.
