In this post, I will share an experience and exciting moment of mine while on a morning trip to a new tourist destination in Central Aceh, namely Sebatas Embun. This is a new tourist destination in Central Aceh district, which is currently very popular on social media, many people are curious about this place and it becomes a question mark when we will visit it.
Sebatas Embun or in English Morning dew, according to its name which is related to dew, so this tourist spot must be visited in the morning before sunrise, this tourist spot is also located on the Gayo highlands, from this place we can see the vast natural scenery and the charm of the sunrise over the city of Takengon and the tawar sea, of course this place is very suitable for me who really likes the charm of the sunrise or sunset.
However, in this post, I will focus more on telling the moments of my journey to that place, where I had to face many obstacles.
To be able to see the beauty offered by this place, we have to visit it before sunrise, so I had no choice but to stay overnight in Takengon city, but luckily I have an uncle who now lives in Central Aceh or more precisely in Tingkeum Bersatu village.
My mistake at that time was that I forgot that the distance between my uncle's village and the Sebatas Embun tourist destination was quite far, which took about 40 minutes by motorbike, of course I was late. At that moment I immediately realized that I had made a mistake Lol.
It is very unfortunate that I was not able to see the charm of the sunrise at this tourist spot, I met the charm of the sunrise when I arrived in the city of Takengon, but the natural atmosphere was very calm and very cool, the natural scenery looked so amazing with the green color of nature which was still moist with dew.
I knew I was already very late so I wasn't in a rush to get to the tourist spot, so at that time I just enjoyed my morning trip, inhaling the fresh scent of nature and watching every view that was before my eyes.
Initially I thought this tourist spot was on the side of the highway but it turned out I was very wrong, to get there we have to pass through a coffee plantation road first, but what makes it more difficult is the condition of the road which is uphill and small, I don't know whether there is another route to this place or not but if you look at the condition of the road it is likely that cars will have great difficulty passing through it or even not be able to at all.
Besides being uphill, the road is also full of sharp bends, and I can conclude that passing through this road when it rains will be very difficult, so my suggestion is that if we want to visit this place, we must see and make sure of the weather first.
After passing through the difficult plantation road, I finally arrived at the top of the hill where the Sebatas Embun tourist destination is located. I took a break for a moment in this main area to rest and wait for some of my friends who were still behind, and I will share my experiences and exciting moments while exploring the Sebatas Embun tourist destination in my next post.
