In this post, I will share my experience when visiting a park in the center of Langsa city called Bambu Runcing, this park is located right on the edge of the main road so anyone can easily find it, but there are several important things that I want to tell about this park, especially the incident after the big flood hit Aceh about 4 months ago.
Langsa is one of the cities affected by the flood and according to information I got from local residents, the flood level around this park reached 1.5 meters, but the big problem is that the flood also brought very thick mud and this park became one of the victims.

At that time the view of this park was very worrying, many facilities were covered in mud such as chairs, monuments and plants, but on this occasion I returned to visit this park to see the changes, and what the view is like now.
After seeing the view now, I can say that this park has come back to life and even the view is much more beautiful than before. However, a question arises, where was the thick mud thrown away.?the answer is that the mud was not thrown away but was covered with soil and cast with cement and now the floor of this park is higher than before.
Plants that were previously affected by mud have now been cleaned and have recovered, even in some areas there are new plants that have been added, honestly I am very amazed to see it.
In this park I can again feel the natural atmosphere that is so calming,and look at the view, doesn't it look very romantic, there are lots of lights installed here so that it provides comfort for visitors, and the colorful lights look so aesthetic in the embrace of green nature.
At night, this park is very suitable to visit with our partner, because there are so many romantic things that we can find here. However, the time at night is limited and if I'm not mistaken, at 11 pm and above, the condition of this park is already quiet.
In the middle of this park there is also a round pool and there is a fountain monument in the middle, 4 months ago this pool was no longer visible because it was covered by very thick mud, I would not even be able to find its location if there was no fountain monument, but now the condition of the pool is very clean and looks like nothing happened.
From this journey I can take many positive things, especially what happened to this park,destruction is not the end of everything,what matters most is our ability to rise again.
