This is my second visit to the Lamreh Hill tourist spot, a fairly popular tourist destination in Aceh Besar, but on this trip I focused more on one of my main goals, namely enjoying the sunset on the top of the hill, it is very difficult to get the sunset moment especially during the rainy season and it is a natural phenomenon that I really miss. During my vacation to the city of Banda Aceh, I have spent a lot of time visiting several popular tourist attractions, both open nature tourism and closed tourist destinations (cafes), and to be honest, it is very difficult to find the sunset moment because it is the rainy season.
From the city center of Banda Aceh, I had to travel for about 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive at the Lamreh hill area, and it was quite a tiring trip, especially since we had to pass through many villages and extreme roads,i really encountered new obstacles when I entered the village roads where the roads were not yet paved.If I'm not mistaken, I arrived at the Lamreh hill area at 5:30 pm, when the sun was starting to show its orange rays.
This is the Laweung road, an alternative road that connects Pidie Jaya and Aceh Besar districts, this is the road that is the choice of travelers because this road is very quiet so we can increase the speed of our motorbikes, but this will also be a negative side, especially at night, the condition of the quiet road makes it scary, especially since there used to be a robbery incident on this road at night.
As soon as I entered the grassland area, the atmosphere immediately changed to a more refreshing one, even though the road conditions were badly damaged, on this road I could see the amazing natural scenery of the hilly grasslands as well as the orange rays of the setting sun which were starting to appear.
Actually, on this trip I didn't have a goal to go to the edge of the cliff, especially since I had been there and explored it before, but my partner asked me to go there because he wanted to enjoy the sunset on the beach.
And the view on the edge of the cliff was still quite bright even though the orange rays of the sunset were already clearly visible, the atmosphere on the edge of the cliff was very refreshing because the sea breeze was constantly blowing on my body. After discussing it for a while with my partner, we finally decided to explore the hilly area, we wanted to find a comfortable place to rest while enjoying the beautiful sunset.
I felt it would be unsafe if I parked my motorbike carelessly in this place, so rather than let anything undesirable happen, I decided to keep taking my motorbike, I continued to traverse each hill with my motorbike and looked for a suitable area to rest.
The sunset was at its most beautiful, and I managed to capture this view from several different locations, and it still looked the same (in terms of beauty). Luckily, on a hilltop, I found a fairly shady tree, so we made it our resting place, taking a break while enjoying the stunning natural beauty.
The time we had was also very short because I didn't want to go home via Jalan Laweung at night. The time was short to be able to enjoy this beautiful view, but there was no other choice because I didn't want anything unwanted to happen on the way home.
Luckily, I could still witness the charm of the sunset from the way home, the beauty of the orange rays of the setting sun seemed to be my companion on this journey home, to be able to capture this moment more perfectly, I was willing to stop in several areas just to photograph the beautiful view that could only be enjoyed for a moment.
It was truly amazing.
After enjoying this natural panorama to my heart's content, I immediately focused on my journey home.
