On a simple green leaf, a mysterious creature rested quietly. It was very small, its body slender and brown, resembling a twig. I'm sure that eyes that are in a hurry will definitely not see this creature. The way it stood was also quite interesting, its body held upright and the tip of its tail slightly flexible. This further emphasized the fact that it resembled a fallen tree branch that had gotten caught on the leaf. Its camouflage was truly flawless.
When I looked at it with the naked eye, this insect looked ordinary. But when I zoomed in with my phone's camera, its body became quite beautiful. It closely resembled a dragonfly. The only differences were its head and legs. A dragonfly's head protrudes somewhat, but this spider cranefly's head was barely visible, small and blended in with its body. As for its legs, a dragonfly has short legs, while this insect has long ones.
