Green baron butterfly

in Nature Observer16 days ago

Under the fragile forest floor and among the dry leaves, I found a green baron butterfly resting weakly. It tried to fly once, but couldn't because one of its wings was damaged. I nearly stepped on it. I completely missed it, focused on the green leaves, which also contained beautiful insects.

The presence of this butterfly on the forest floor immediately caught my attention. I crouched down, took a closer look, and took a picture. My first glance fell on its damaged wing, and I felt sorry for it. It was in a state between death and life. Its activities were severely limited, especially in its search for food.

Although its physical condition was no longer perfect, its will to survive never faded. As I mentioned earlier, it continued to try to fly. Even though it knew it was no longer able to fly, its spirit was extraordinary, and it amazed me.

Stunning shot of the Green Baron Butterfly! Nature's artistry at its finest.

It's so sad. I hope she makes it through. She has moved me and also amazed me too

Yes, hopefully there are no predators targeting it.

Whenever I see a butterfly that is both beautiful and damaged, I feel sorry for it. I know it's irrational, but I can't help it.

Yes, I understand that feeling, it doesn't always have to be logical, sometimes empathy just arises from something we never expected.

Awwww poor butterfly still not lost hope and trying to fly 😃

Yes, that's right. He kept trying his hardest, even though he knew he was powerless. Thanks for stopping by.
