Cylindromyia intermedia fly

in Nature Observer26 days ago

On a young leaf that has not fully opened itself to the world, I found a beautiful fly from the tachinidae family, she is Cylindromyia intermedia. I found her standing very gracefully on the leaf. As if she knew that behind her tiny body there was a charm that could not be measured. At first glance this fly looks ordinary, but when we observe it closely, the fly looks extraordinary. Look at that tiny body, it is very beautiful, holding a million uniqueness that is difficult to ignore.

Look at her tiny body, neatly arranged like a machine designed with high precision. The color of her body is very beautiful, black, gray and reddish brown. Her head looks unique, full of large blackish brown eyes. A pair of tiny antennas extend forward, sometimes the antennas are moved very slowly, as if she is feeling the aroma carried by the wind.

Her long and slender legs make her even more beautiful when looked at. Don't forget a pair of transparent wings that are lightly spread, ready to flap whenever needed. But at that time he didn't flap his wings, maybe he realized someone was pointing a camera at him.
