We already had 2 son and thought that it's enough, so we don't planned to have more kids. But, we are confuse to pick reliable preventive action since my wife had some mental health problem (most of the methods on woman cause hormonal change which might cause mental problem as well), so we are stuck on the natural way and only use the condom as protection.

The problem is, sometimes things get too hot to handle, and the feeling of don't want to use the protection (my wife complains about the different feels of using the contraception), so yeah, even if we try to control everything, things are uncontrollable 😅

That's when we finally decide that it's the last. We affraid we can't provide for more kids, since they all need more than just survive. They need love, accomodation, and all the needs to fulfilled.

Even it's out of our plan, we decide to keep the baby with the best we can. But we also make our decision to make it the very last, with me getting the vasectomy last month, and my wife get the tubectomy. It's a big decision but we don't feel it that much because we have make our mind about it. And that is the reason why my wife giving birth with the caesarean section methods, so the tubectomy can be done on the same surgery, no more surgery needed.

Prepare for Surgery

It's about 2 weeks ago, when we visit doctor and she said we have to go to hospital in 2 days for the birth, faster than expected birth date (around 23th of June, and the Doctor Suggest it into 13th of June) because the uterine cervix has softened and the baby might born soon, so we can't wait for the initial date since we want to do tubectomy as well, so it has to be with caesarean section

And here is my wife, given the deksametason and whatever needed before the surgery. She has to fast for 6 hours before the surgery. My wife is nervous so I have to calm her down. And the patient room is so cold, I can't sleep well without proper preparation 😅

How the Surgery Goes

After my wife going to surgery room, I change my clothes so I can accompany her. But I only allowed to enter the surgery room after she got the anesthesia. She is not so nervous anymore, she can even make some jokes there. I actually the one who is affraid, because on her previous birth 3 years ago, I was getting pale after seeing her getting injected several times because the vein kinda hard to reach.

I am not allowed to take picture on surgery room, so no picture for the process. She feels some uncomfortable feeling, and it's normal because her body is on the surgery. Once again, all I can do is pray and calm her down. I don't get pale that day, probably because I watch some korean movie that have lot of surgery scene, I also watch the caecarian section video on the youtube, so things looks fine at the surgery room when I sometimes watch the blood and inside of her body.

As far as I seen, there is no serious issues on the surgery, only her blood pressure getting low at a time, but then it become normal after given something by the medical team. I was told to leave the surgery room as soon as the baby is born so I have to wait outside the surgery room.

My Wife Condition After the Surgery

For around 48 hours after the surgery, my wife is feels so sleepy, sometimes looks like someone that fly after the drugs (as seen on movies). It's not normal because from the information we get on the internet, the effect of anesthesia should be gone around 16-20 hours after the surgery. Later on I knew from the doctor that my wife given more anesthesia because she feel anxiety during the surgery (but I don't see anything, maybe before I enter the room or after), my wife told me she feels kinda hard to breath at the time.

I think everything will get better, but after the anasthesia effect and no more sleepy, my wife started to feel the hurt on her stomach, it's should be the wound. After few days, we realize there is a pus after consult with the doctor, and yesterday some of the pus is getting out. This evening, we will have to do it on our own, and we should get consultation again in 2 days. I hope everything is fine and my wife could recover very soon.
