3 in a row
Rob McIlhenny and Ryan Reynolds were called crazy when they bought Wrexham AFC 5 years ago for 2,5 million GBP. But the story of Wrexham can called a true fairytale today.
3 consecutive promotions take them to the Championship, the second tier of British football. This coming from non professional tier in the National League 4 years ago.
Traditional club
Wrexham AFC is the third oldest football club in Britain, established in 1864. Their stadium, the Racecourse, is the oldest stadium in Britain. So the club breathes tradition. Which Rob and Ryan managed to maintain. They even enhanced the local heritage in the club. While steadily growing the brand and the club. They now can make a move to get into the Premier League. Which will of course be very hard. But with these two, nothing is impossible!
Sincerely,
