Childish

The minister of health in Belgium, Frank Vandenbroucke, who is a convicted criminal by the way for fraud, has decided that as of later on this year or beginning next year people will be prohibited to smoke or vape on a terrace or just outside of a pub or a restaurant.

Smokers are the cash cow of our Belgian tax system. A pack of cigarettes already costs over 11.5 EUR over here! And now they keep on making it harder and harder for these people. Because, that’s what they are, they are still people. Not animals or trash, that you can dump somewhere.

I am an ex-smoker and ex-vaper, but I really have respect for the people that do smoke. It’s a difficult addiction to get rid off. Just by putting them somewhere you can’t see them won’t change that!

It’s just childish to not let them smoke or vape in open air, they are grown adults, let them decide for themselves. Give people a break and some freedoms back!
