Worse than China
A group of experts has been ordered by the European Union to search for ways to creat a backdoor in all smart machinery that is sold in Europe. Smartphones, objects that are connected to the internet, cars, computers, etc…
The EU wants to be able to log into them to stop criminal organisations. But they pass by to the fact that invades the complete privacy of every European. And gives potential rogue governments the possibility to spy on its people and to abuse the information they gather from this.
This goes even further than the surveillance state what is currently going on in China.
Luckily there is a lot of opposition to this, so a lot of water will have to flow to the sea before this really happens!
