ย Saludos cinรฉfilos de #CineTV. Tiempo sin compartir con ustedes. Hace poco volvรญ a ver esta serie de HBO que me gustรณ mucho y hoy quiero compartir mi opiniรณn al respecto. Se trata de El Visitante. Una serie te suspenso/terror muy bien hecho y con excelentes actores, y no sรณlo eso, sino que estรก basado en uno de las grandes historias de Stephen King.
ย Tรฉcnicamente me llamรณ la atenciรณn porque estรก basada en una de los libros del maestro del terror, mejor conocido como Stephen King y luego de revisar el elenco seleccionado, decidรญ darle finalmente una oportunidad. De hecho la he visto dos veces ya y aun asรญ me sigue pareciendo buena y disfrutable.
ย La serie mรกs que terror desarrolla mucho drama y misterio, sumando un toque de terror psicolรณgico que me encanta. La primera vez que la vi me perdรญ un poco por los nombres, ya que no soy muy buena con ellos y recordรกndolos, pero el suspenso y la trama en sรญ es sencilla de seguir. Si te pierdes por un momento viendo el telรฉfono, puedes agarrarle el hilo enseguida.

ย La historia sigue los pasos de un excelente detective llamado Ralph Anderson que reside en un pequeรฑo pueblo con nombre Cherokee donde todos sus habitantes se conocen. Sin embargo un extraรฑo y brutal asesinato se ha llevado a cabo en el bosque cercano donde la vรญctima es un niรฑo de tan solo 11 aรฑos.
ย Lo peor no fue la forma en la que hallaron sus restos sino de la persona que se sospecha y no se tiene duda de que lo hizo. Uno de los habitantes modelos del lugar, capturado por cรกmaras de seguridad y tambiรฉn por testigos que hablaron con รฉl minutos despuรฉs de haber cometido el asesinato.
ย Pero, este mismo hombre alega que no estuvo en ese lugar ni a esa hora, entonces ambas partes se contradicen y se intenta indagar mรกs en el caso llegando a un callejรณn sin salida. Sin embargo, la reputaciรณn de este hombre, por ser un pueblo pequeรฑo, los rumores se corren rรกpidamente y su reputaciรณn se pierde de manera instantรกnea.
ย Todo se viene a pique para esta familia y nadie en realidad sabe lo que sucede. La serie tiene unos cuantos giros inesperados y aunque la trama puede parecer que avanza lentamente, la forma en la que te introducen en la historia con tanto drama y cinismo, hace que te enganches desde el primer capรญtulo.

ย La investigaciรณn policiaca sube de nivel cuando la historia se vuelca a lo sobrenatural. Te plantean el misterio de tal manera a lo largo de la serie que lo puedes tomar como un protagonista invisible pero siempre presente en cada momento.
ย Mi personaje favorito es el de Holly Gibney interpretado por Cynthia Erivo a quien todos conocen ahora como Elphaba, la bruja de Wicked. Y aunque me encantรณ verla actuar en esa pelรญcula, su papel como Holly me resultรณ uno de los mejores que he visto hasta el momento. A pesar de ser un personaje secundario, debutรณ como uno principal de manera estupenda.

ย De hecho, fue gracias a ella que se resolviรณ el caso, contra todo pronรณstico y toda lรณgica. Porque sรญ, la serie llega un punto con el televidente en el que la lรณgica se pierde y se vuelve ficciรณn pero desde mi punto de vista es como ver una historia basada en una leyenda urbana muy bien contada.
ย Si buscas algo diferente que te intrigue, te enganche desde su primer episodio y su final sea totalmente inesperado, asรญ como todos sus capรญtulos, te recomiendo que le des una oportunidad. Tambiรฉn si eres fanรกtico de Stephen King, no te vas a arrepentir. De mi parte la recomiendo y le doy sus bien merecidas:

Greetings, movie lovers from #CineTV. It's been a while since I've shared with you. I recently rewatched this HBO series that I really liked, and today I want to share my opinion about it. It's called The Visitor. It's a very well-made suspense/horror series with excellent actors, and not only that, but it's based on one of Stephen King's great stories.
Technically, it caught my attention because it is based on one of the books by the master of horror, better known as Stephen King, and after reviewing the cast, I finally decided to give it a chance. In fact, I have already watched it twice, and I still find it enjoyable and entertaining.
The series is more drama and mystery than horror, with a touch of psychological horror that I love. The first time I watched it, I got a little lost with the names, as I'm not very good with them and remembering them, but the suspense and the plot itself are easy to follow. If you get distracted for a moment looking at your phone, you can pick up the thread right away.

The story follows the footsteps of an excellent detective named Ralph Anderson who lives in a small town called Cherokee where all the residents know each other. However, a strange and brutal murder has taken place in the nearby forest, where the victim is an 11-year-old boy.
The worst part was not how his remains were found, but rather the person suspected of the crime, who is undoubtedly guilty. One of the town's model citizens was caught on security cameras and also by witnesses who spoke to him minutes after he committed the murder.
However, this same man claims that he was not at that place at that time, so both sides contradict each other and attempts to investigate the case further reach a dead end. Nevertheless, because it is a small town, rumors spread quickly and this man's reputation is instantly ruined.
Everything falls apart for this family, and no one really knows what is happening. The series has a few unexpected twists, and although the plot may seem to move slowly, the way they draw you into the story with so much drama and cynicism keeps you hooked from the first episode.

The police investigation escalates when the story takes a supernatural turn. The mystery is presented in such a way throughout the series that you can think of it as an invisible protagonist that is always present.
My favorite character is Holly Gibney, played by Cynthia Erivo, whom everyone now knows as Elphaba, the witch from Wicked. And although I loved seeing her act in that movie, her role as Holly was one of the best I've seen so far. Despite being a secondary character, she made a great debut as a main character.

In fact, it was thanks to her that the case was solved, against all odds and logic. Because yes, the series reaches a point with the viewer where logic is lost and it becomes fiction, but from my point of view, it's like watching a story based on a very well-told urban legend.
If you're looking for something different that intrigues you, hooks you from the first episode, and has a totally unexpected ending, as well as all its episodes, I recommend you give it a try. Also, if you're a Stephen King fan, you won't regret it. For my part, I recommend it and give it its well-deserved:
