But something happens between them because of something. I can't tell you what that "something" is right now, because I don't want to spoil it. Saludos cordiales estimados amigos de Buskeria, con mucho quiero compartirles hoy la historia que he escrito sobre Philipe y Javi. Ellos dos trabajan juntos en una banda musical, son un dúo. Pero algo pasa entre ellos por culpa algo. No les puedo decir ahora que será ese “algo” porque sino les hago spolier. Eso lo podrán conocer leyendo la historia, así que ya saben. Dicho esto arrancamos espero que les guste.

Even now, so much time later, no one knows why such a brilliant duo as Los Ángeles could have separated in such a shocking way. Philipe and Javi seemed almost inseparable, and they always stood together through any problem the duo faced. That's why it was so surprising to learn that they had separated for good and would never sing together again. Many think that the problems between them began on the very day of their separation, but they are wrong. The cracks in their working relationship started long before the split; they weren't as close as they appeared in their songs.

It wasn't always like that. When they first got together, they were a duo that truly supported each other. There was no difference between them. Everything they did was for the mutual benefit of the group. The beginning of the group was very beneficial for both of them. Almost everyone in Buskeria liked their music. Most people had a picture of them in their room, because, since that was the most musical region in the world, they wanted to be like them. Young people saw them as role models because they started from the bottom and had already reached the top.

A día de hoy tanto tiempo después nadie sabe por qué un dúo tan genial como Los Ángeles pudo haberse separado de una forma tan impactante. Philipe y Javi parecían casi inseparables, y ante cualquier problema que enfrentó el dúo siempre habían estado juntos. Por eso fue tan sorpresivo saber que se habían separado para siempre y que no cantarían de nuevo jamás. Muchos piensan que los problemas entre ellos comenzaron ese mismo día de la separación, peri están equivocados. Las fracturas en su relación de trabajo comenzaron mucho tiempo atrás antes de la separación, no eran tan unidos como se veían en las canciones.

No siempre fue así, ellos al principio cuando se unieron eran un dúo que se apoyaba de verdad. No había diferencia. Cada cosa que hacían era para beneficio mutuo del grupo. El inicio del grupo fue muy beneficioso para los dos. Su música les gustaba a casi todos en Buskeria. La mayoría tenía un retrato suyo en su cuarto, pues como esa era la región más musical del mundo, querían parecerse a ellos. Los jóvenes los veían como un ejemplo a seguir porque empezaron de lo más bajo y ya estaban en lo más alto.

Things started to go wrong after they reached the peak of musical success. It began with something small. Philipe had a charisma that made him sing much better than Javi, which is why people laughed at what he said or connected with him more when he was emotional. It wasn't that he sang better than Javi, because Javi sang very well; it was just that his way of expressing himself was more communicative. That's why when Philipe sang, whether at concerts or elsewhere, people went wild. When Javi started, they didn't scream nearly as much. Despite not having as much charisma, they were equally loved as a group.

The only one who got angry about all this was Javi himself. He began to see his friend as an existential threat to his music. He never said it, but from the moment he started seeing him that way, they were no longer friends, they were enemies. Javi wanted to change people's perception of Philipe to gain more visibility. Since he was in charge of writing the songs and arranging how they would be performed in concerts, and who would start singing, he used that power to put himself in the best places and moments in the songs.

Las cosas empezaron a ir mal luego de llegar a cima del éxito musical. Empezó por algo pequeño. Philipe tenía un carisma para cantar mucho mejor que Javi, por eso la gente se ría con lo que decía o cuando era algo emocional conectaban mejor con el. No es que cantara mejor que Javi pues el lo hacia muy bien, era solo que su forma de expresarse era más comunicativa que la de el otro. Por eso cuando el cantaba ya sea en conciertos la gente enloquecía cuando salía Philipe a cantar. Cuando empezaba Javi no gritaban tanto. A pesar de que no tenia tanto carisma eran amados por igual como grupo.

El único que se enfadó con todo esto fue el mismo Javi. El empezó a ver en su amigo una amenaza existencial para su música. Nunca se lo dijo pero desde que empezó a verlo con esos ojos ya no eran amigos, eran enemigos. Javi quería cambiar la percepción que tenia la gente sobre Philipe para el obtener más visibilidad. Como el era el encargado de escribir las canciones y de ordenar como iban a salir en los conciertos, quien empezaría cantando el aprovechó ese poder para el ponerse así mismo en los mejores lugares y momentos en las canciones.

Philipe noticed something strange about him, but it never crossed his mind that he was plotting something. Things happened the opposite of what Javi expected. In the brief appearance he was giving the other, the crowd went wild for him, making a lot of noise. They truly connected with him. Even if he sang the entire song himself, just one minute of Philipe's appearance was enough for the audience to show him even more support. Pride, envy, and fury consumed Javi. He couldn't accept being inferior to his friend; he had to be older, since he was the leader of the duo.

It was at a concert where the shocking separation occurred. They were singing, and suddenly, as always, the crowd started making noise because Philipe had come out to sing—it was their way of showing their support. When Javi saw that they weren't doing the same for him, he couldn't take it anymore. He stopped the music and stopped singing. Everything was silent. They didn't know what was happening. Javi simply said, "If you prefer him, then keep him," and left. Not even Philipe expected that. The controversy it generated was brutal.

Philipe notaba algo raro en el pero no le pasó por la cabeza que eran esas cosas que estaba tramando. Las cosas pasaron al contrario de lo que Javi pensaba. En la pequeña participación que le estaba dando al otro la gente enloquecía por el, y hacían mucha bulla. En verdad conectaban con el. Aunque el mismo cantara la canción completa con solo aparecer 1 minuto Philipe con eso era suficiente para que la gente le demostrara más apoyo a él. El orgullo, la envidia y la furia consumieron a Javi, no concebía ser menor que su amigo, el debía ser mayor, pues era el líder del dúo.

Fue en un concierto donde ocurrió la separación impactante. Ellos estaban cantando y de pronto la gente como siempre empezó a hacer bulla porque había salido Philipe a cantar, era su forma de demostrarle su apoyo. Al Javi ver que no lo hicieron con el no aguantó más. Paró la música y dejó de cantar. Todo era silencio. No sabían que pasaba. Javi solo dijo, si lo prefieren a el pues quédenselo y se fue. Ni Philipe se esperaba eso. Fue brutal la polémica generada.

They each went their separate ways. But envy prevented Javi from ever thriving again; people already knew why he had left. Although he tried to return to music later, no one listened to him. Everyone stayed with Philipe, who continued as a solo artist. He was humble and never said anything against his other friend. In fact, he was the one who suffered the most from all of this because he never expected everything that had happened. He only wishes him the best and hopes that one day he will let go of the resentment he holds. That was all that happened between them: one failed, and the other persevered.

Cada uno se fue por su lado. Pero la envidia no dejó prosperar jamás a Javi de nuevo, la gente sabía ya porque se había ido. Aunque intentó regresar a la música más tarde nadie lo escuchó. Todos se quedaron con Philipe, que siguió como solista. El era humilde y nunca dijo nada en contra de su otro amigo. El de hecho fue quien más sufrió de todo esto, porque nunca se esperó todo esto que había pasado, solo le desea lo mejor y que algún día deje el rencor que le tiene. Eso fue todo lo que ocurrió entre ellos, uno fracasó y el otro continuó.
