It's been almost two decades since Dwaine and his father founded the music and recording studio where they still work today. Together, they reminisce about the countless singers who have come through the studio to record their songs. Many singers recorded their first song there, and many of them became hits. But the most exciting part was when a big-name singer, one of the most successful in Buskeria, came and recorded a song in the studio. It was thrilling for everyone on the team because there was so much pressure in the air, paparazzi everywhere. Everyone loved that adrenaline rush.

Later, when Dwaine's father retired from music, he had to continue running the family business alone. He hired more staff and led the studio into its golden age of recording. More and more important singers came, and the studio's reputation grew. They said that everything Dwaine touched turned to gold; he was the best music editor. Because of these comments that spread by word of mouth, the studio received more and more singers.

This was an opportunity the local band had been waiting for, as they had never collaborated with anyone from outside the area before, much less with renowned musicians like those from Buskeria. The opportunity was also unique because they only had a few days to record, and then the musicians would be leaving for an extended tour.

If they didn't manage to record then, they might not be able to try again due to time constraints. Both bands informed the studio of the situation, and Dwaine, delighted to fulfill their wishes, postponed his other projects to focus on this special and unique recording assignment. A few days later, the musicians arrived and spent several days in nearby hotels, incurring considerable expenses. But after some effort, they managed to record the song with the local band. It was a fantastic experience for them. The song was perfect, all that was left was for Dwaine to finish polishing it in a few days and then send it to them so they could publish it.

La popularidad del estudio llegó hasta los oídos de una banda que venía de Buskeria de paso para hacer una colaboración con los miembros de una banda local cercana a donde estaba el estudio. Como sabían que aquel lugar tenia muy buena fama decidieron grabar una canción ahí. Esta era una oportunidad que llevaba esperando la banda local porque nunca antes habían colaborado con alguien de afuera y menos con músicos de renombre como los de Buskeria. La oportunidad era única también porque solo tenían unos días para grabar y luego esos músicos se irían de gira por un largo tiempo.

Sino lograban hacerlo en esa oportunidad era posible que por problemas tiempo no pudieran volver a intentarlo de nuevo. Ambas bandas le comunicaron la situación a el estudio y Dwaine muy contento de cumplir el deseo de ambas bandas retrasó o aplazó los demás trabajos para concentrase en ese encargo de grabación especial y único. Unos días después llegaron los músicos y se pasaron varios días en hoteles cercanos gastando mucho dinero en la estancia. On the same day, both bands left for their respective tours in different countries. Dwaine had to get everything done before the performance date. He didn't feel pressured, though, because he was used to it. But then a major setback occurred. A huge earthquake struck the city, destroying the studio and all the recordings. The bands were devastated, having lost money and, above all, an opportunity that wouldn't come around again for a long time. Dwaine couldn't believe it; what bad luck. Now he had no family business; he had lost everything. It seemed like dark times had arrived. But while clearing the studio rubble, he found the recordings of the songs. Just when all seemed lost, it wasn't.

El mismo día las dos bandas se fueron de gira cada uno para un país distinto. Dwaine tenía que hacer todo antes de que llegara la fecha de presentación. He quickly saved the songs and was able to send them to the bands that recorded them on time. It seemed their luck had returned. When he sent them, the musicians released them, and they were a tremendous success. So much so that they promised to collaborate again. But it didn't end there. Since the song did so well, they financed the reconstruction of the recording studio; it was a way of thanking Dwaine for saving their music. Now they are all great friends, and they record all their songs exclusively at his studio, Las vueltas que da la vida (Life Takes a Turn).
