La he terminado hace tan solo unos minutos de escribir esto así que diremos que se puede decir que está acabada de salir del horno, cuidado y no se quemen jaja. Fueras de jugar con ustedes les cuento que esta es sobre Dahlia. Ella trabaja con instrumentos. Pero lo que hace con ellos y a lo que se enfrenta solo lo podrán descubrir leyendo el cuento. Dahlia has been working with instruments for years; she knows most of them. She's worked with them in two main phases. One was when she started in the repair business. Back then, all she did was repair broken instruments. For example, strings on a broken guitar, problems with piano keys, or a flute clogged with dust from lack of use. That was the easiest part at the beginning. Then she moved on to more difficult things, like repairing much more complex instruments. She had a small workshop in the center of Buskeria. Everyone knew her for her excellent work. Musicians came from all over the region. So that small workshop had to expand several times.

That was just the first phase of her evolution. The big part came later; repairs shifted to custom design. This phase began with a commission. It was an old violin. A young woman brought it to her. Besides wanting it repaired, she also asked Dahlia to change certain things and transform it into a violin tailored to her needs. When Dahlia finished the work, the woman was delighted with the result. So she started telling everyone in Buskeria, and they told others. And that's how more and more commissions came in. People no longer came for repairs; what they wanted were custom designs for their instruments. And Dahlia had to adapt to this new type of business. With that, her life changed.

La gente ya no venía por reparaciones, lo que querían eran diseños personalizados de sus instrumentos. Y Dahlia tuvo que adaptarse a ese nuevo tipo de negocio. Con fue su vida cambió.

Buskeria was where she had the most work; musicians came from all four islands. No repair was too difficult for her, nor was any design too complicated. Whatever the customer wanted, she always fulfilled it. And that gave the business so much fame that it expanded, and people started coming from outside the region. Because of this, a challenge was soon to come for her. A famous drummer, who was a bit eccentric, heard about her reputation and the business. He had long desired a special drum kit, something that would make him stand out in the band and be recognized everywhere. So he went to where she was to have her do this work.

Dahlia was confident, so she didn't ask many questions about what he wanted. He left the instructions and paid in advance, something many did given her trustworthiness and experience. But when he left and she finally had time to review what he wanted, she was very impressed. The man wanted an extravagant drum kit. It was made of materials that weren't easy to obtain, like diamonds, gold, and rare minerals. She could buy them with money, but some weren't for sale, so she had to find them one by one wherever they might be.

En Buskeria era donde más trabajo tenía, venían músicos de las 4 islas. No había reparación muy difícil para ella, o diseño muy complicado. Lo que deseaba el cliente siempre era cumplido. Y eso le dio tanta fama al negocio que se expandió, empezaron a venir personas desde fuera de la región. Por eso pronto vendría un reto para ella. Un baterista famoso que era un poco excéntrico se enteró de su fama y del negocio. El llevaba tiempo deseando una batería especial, algo que lo hiciera destacar dentro de la banda y pudiera ser reconocido por la batería en todas partes. Así que el se dirigió hasta donde estaba ella para que le hiciera este trabajo.

Dahlia estaba confiada así que no preguntó mucho que era lo que quería, el dejó las instrucciones y pagó por adelantado, cosa que muchos hacían dada la confianza y experiencia que ella tenía. Pero cuando el se fue y ella por fin tuvo tiempo para revisar que era lo que quería se impresionó mucho. El señor quería una batería extravagante. Echa de materiales que no eran nada fáciles de conseguir, como diamantes, oro y minerales raros. Ella podía conseguirlos con dinero, pero algunos no se vendían, así que tocaba buscarlos uno a uno en donde sea que estuvieran.

She immediately started working with what she had; she wanted to meet the deadline. She got the gold and diamonds easily since they appear with money. But the rest of the minerals needed for the decoration weren't easy to find. So she offered money to mining platforms and places where they were known to be found. But it took a long time to find them. So she was afraid she wouldn't be able to complete the task if she didn't find them. And the good reputation of the business was at stake.

The more days passed, the more stressed she became. The deadline was getting closer. When she thought all was lost, one of the mining platforms she had paid for found the minerals she was looking for, and she was able to finish building the extravagant battery on time. And she delivered it.

The singer was delighted with her and recommended her to more friends. Now she has many more orders than before, but she learned a lesson from this experience: it's best to check things thoroughly before accepting anything. She will continue repairing and creating instruments; that's her passion, but she'll keep that lesson in mind.

Se puso a trabajar de inmediato con lo que tenía, quería cumplir con el plazo que había dado. El oro y los diamantes los consiguió con facilidad ya que con dinero aparecen. Continuará reparando y creando instrumentos, esa es su pasión pero con esa lección.
