The Power of Unity

It's been a while since I shared my Sunday reflections in this space. Today has been a long day, especially after our morning service, but yet very fruitful. The topic of unity was discussed by our priest, and he touched on diverse areas of human lives where unity can do wonders.

According to him, unity brings about teamwork, and with teamwork, powerful results are easy. Take, for instance, our families, where the couple is united, and the couple teams up to achieve their purpose and goals, but with divided minds, things are never moved the way they should. He stressed that a lot of couples are not in unity yet married, and it could bring setbacks and limitations in some instances.

There were several examples he gave, but the one that got me thinking is about my country.

The presidential elections are around the corner, and many people have been complaining of bad government, especially on social media. The majority of people know that man that can lead Nigeria better, but we can only achieve it through unity. It's more than mere talk and wishes; it calls for unity, it calls for teamwork, and it calls for actions.

If all of us can come together together, then strive to get our voter's cards, then come out and cast our votes and follow it up intentionally, hopefully, our expectations will be achieved. But in all, most of us talk more than we take action. If we are really tired of the suffering in this country, then it's high time we should unite irrespective of our different tribes and then do things like a team and reclaim our country. It's doable, and with teamwork and unity, the results are almost guaranteed.

So yeah,, embrace unity in your home, in your office, etc., and spot the difference in the results.
